This is the when and how the Dark Magician came to be. Yeah...I don't own Yu-Gi-Oh! or anything like that just put this small video for the people to enjoy.
Good friend and ally’s would do that for each other that’s why he did what he did. Because his friend/lord meant so much to him even his spirit was willing to be his servant. This shows just how loyal dark magician is to yami yugi.
Kind of interesting that they even reflected this in Palladium Oracle Mahad's effect: when it is destroyed and sent to the graveyard, you can special summon a Dark Magician from your hand, deck or graveyard.
yeah, and when mahad said "his soul would eternally protect Atem", i thought that's where they got the name of Eternal Soul from.. his stone tablet's the image, btw!
Remember when Shadi went into Yugi's and Atem's minds. Later shadi gets attacked by the dark magician guarding atems mind. And it makes EVEN MORE SENSE that it obeyed yugi and left. Now that is special people
No wonder Yu Gi always use Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl, they are his best friends in ancient times and they both want to serve him for eternity and the next. Seems like they are the real best friends forever types.
So this is why you get to special summon Dark Magician from your hand, deck, or graveyard after your Palladium Oracle Mahad gets destroyed. AMAZING. Mahad transforms into Dark Magician after its defeat.
Have you seen season 0 or read the first 60 chapters of the manga. The card game is literally in 2 different story arcs in the first 60 chapters both have kaiba as the villain.
This actually brings me back to that duel of Arkana..Where the DM was bound, and used his own soul as a shield. No matter what form he takes, he is always Mahado at the core.
Thinking on it, Mahad is one of the bunch that doesn’t have a reincarnation in the modern time. Though in his case it’s because he’s still “alive” in a sense.
HA! I FECKING KNEW IT! my friend didn't believe me, he refused and said that mahado (I think I spelt it wrong but never mind) never combined his spirit with Dark magician, so I was trying to find evidence that I was right and BOOM! here it is!
Zard Master Ray 64 nope Somehow she summon black mg and at the same time controls her conscious And for some reason old bmg is white and wears fashionable clothes :3
I was kinda annoyed when the cut out the blade swinging across, though I know why, it made it impossible to understand the lengths he went to for his Pharaoh what he did. *sigh* I love Mahado!!!!
This shows just how powerful dark magician really is, it overpowered the same creature that tied with obelisk when said creature was in a weaker state.
then again, both diabound n bakura survived.mahado didnt.i think at this point he had all the spells associated with him, like dark magic attack, diffusion wave motion, etc.but later it will be up to whoever summons him to power his attacks.
@@UniverseElementalist that's not the same as surviving, he's literally a monster that has to depend on another person's ba to be summoned else he can't come out to communicate with anyone. Also he's forever locked as a monster n cannot be reincarnated, unlike seto
damn these flashback scenes makes the duel against Raph hit even more. The fact that Yami was so completely consumed by the Seal that he essentially sacrificed Mahad and Mana just for some Life Point damage is F*cked up man.
Wait did Mana end up being Magician Girl? Cause if her outfit and design don't scream that card then I don't know what does. Even her bond with Mahado mirrors the kind of Teacher and Student bond of Dark Magician and Dark Migician Girl
I guess it's implied she'll become it ONE DAY she herself never does and for some reason the Black Magician Girl that gets summoned doesn't appear with tanned skin.
in the japanese version, when Yugi first summons her (Black Magician Girl) he calls her the disciple of the Black Magician in egypt, Mana is Mahad's disciple!
Well here monsters aren't limited to attack points for a card game they're as powerful as they can be by whatever classes they are.....also by how Takahashi makes them out to be
I'm able to take both VAs of Bakura seriously. I have trouble taking Dan Green as Yami Yugi seriously though. LK's mocking of Atem's 4Kids voice is very on point imo. Sorry.
Manga did it better. You actually saw the blade hit Mahado and blood splattered then he blasted Diabound which sent Bakura falling into the abyss. Anime altered the scene, especially with the anime original stuff.
japans media rating system is alot more strict television and manga they are lot more strict on blood on television but since in the manga its black ink its not as hard some games like infamous thats was given a T rating in the us is basically rated A for adults over they and the game doenst even have blood
ratchetandclankfan2 actually the color of the ink doesn’t matter. It’s still blood. Also it’s for teen audiences. Shonen manga and anime are primarily targeted towards teenage boys. So the blood was ok for that demographic. But the anime still has some swearing in it.
@@ratchetandclankfan2 The Cero ratings didn't exist until the mid 2000s honestly and it applies to video games. And if I remember correctly, Cero A is similar to the US's E for Everyone.
Adam Selvig I don't think this was just to pay his debt, actually, this was not a debt. Atem saved his life because and never said Mahado was in debt. Mahado and Atem were friends and Mahado vowed to always protect Atem.
Lol. Great! Imagine if someone goes back in time, comes as emissary of the gods, gives the pharoh of the time the 3 Egyptian God cards. That would be funny.
I've never finished the show but I'm watching it from the beginning and yet, here I am crying. I don't know how it led to this so please don't spoil it for me.
Now I remember. Also I just noticed this but Yugioh kind of reminds me of Fate. Each card seems to hold something or someone that actually existed in the world. Or you know, no.
Ok, I am just going to throw a theory out there: if history repeats itself, and everyone of the royal court has a counterpart/lookalike in the present, show up hands who thinks Jounouchi Katsuya is Mahado's reincarnation? There are several similarities; they ongoing rivalry between him and Set/o, the fact that he is Atemu's/Yuugi's best friend, his unbroken loyality, indomitable will and willingness to sacrifice himself. Taking into consideration that Jou withstood the direct attack of the Winged Dragon of Ra, it stands to reason. Plus, if Mahado joined his Ka and Ba to protect Atemu, means he transformed into a Khu(Spirit), thus becoming Atemu's guaridan angel. Hence him not being able to use Jounouchi's body as a vessel per se; since he had linked himself eternally to the pharao's soul.
Well not everyone has a counterpart. Ishizu- Isis Mahado-? Seto- Kaiba Shimon- Solomon Muto Karim- ? Shada-? Akhenaden-? Tristan-? Tea-? Yugi-? Joey-? I don't think Joey is Mahado, Mahado soul is fused with Dark Magician.
@@carinabaptista9726 Yugi is considered Atem's modern day counterpart considering they look alike and there's a theory that after Atem sealed his soul in the Puzzle his body over the millennia was able to reincarnate into little Yugi Muto who represents Atem's kindness Plus in Forbidden Memories Joey, Tristan, and Tea are shown to have modern day counterparts who are peasant friends of Atem
@@aozorahaou2643 I actually a similar theory as to how Yugi is Atem's reincarnation. Namely, upon sealing Zorc away, Atem's spirit was twinned so to speak, and the twinned piece, after several stillbirths eventually became the Yugi we know and love.
All well and good that Mahado becomes the Dark Magician, buuuuuuut... he handed Bakura the Millennium Ring which allowed Bakura to remain alive and torment the world for thousands of years after the fact. Soooo... hm. Kind of a wash?
Personally, I prefer Blue Eyes Still, this story makes Dark Magician very interesting If we now that Palladium Oracle Mahad became Dark Magician, that makes the next question. What about the others "Dark Magician" cards? For example, we can see at the very end of these video the Eternal Soul card. This is saying that all the other cards about DM are things of his life or something like that I like Dark Magician Still, I prefer Blue Eyes and Superheavy Samurai
Le noble prince This is definitely one scene that wouldn't have worked without being changed. Cultural differences between Japan and the west regarding what makes a death noble are insurmountable.
she does but later, for the ka and ba to be fuse you must to die, that's how it works, maybe on a future where Mana dies for his age or the war, etc, She creates the dark magician girl... at this time i believe she's not fuse entirely like the Dark magician
Now I know why pendalum miracle mahad effect is when he being sent to the graveyard special summon dark magician from hand, deck or graveyard He sacrificed himself in other to become dark magician could be better if konami put a special animation about yami Yugi summon mahad or just give a signature speech like he summon kuriboh or dark magician girl
