To this day I find Arle and Satan's interactions in MSX Madou 1-2-3 hilarious. He's going to fight Arle to protect his precious Carbunny, but he's also going to ask her out while doing that. Satan's definitely one of my favourites in the series. His antics are annoying in an endearing way to me. I like that he can be mature in some instances (his interactions with Squares comes to mind) but is also awfully dumb and childish (honestly, the situation with Arle could be resolved if either of them y'know, talked it out? but I like that his ridiculousness contrasts with Arle's more serious attitude).
Fun fact, the novels have Amitie accidentally figure out that the reason Satan doesn't just "figure it out" with Arle because he doesn't WANT TO FIGURE it out. He LIKES the way things are. This has some worrying implications about his overall mental health, buuut-
@@Nenilein The absurdity of Satan’s shenanigans make for a good laugh, but it does have worrying implications for his and Arle’s mental health. Arle’s going to snap one day… (Note: I don’t follow Oda’s explanation of the Lilith motivation for Satan’s interest in Arle. I prefer and find it funny that he started doing this because Arle completed his stupid dungeon, but yeah, the Dark Prince needs some friends and hobbies…)

for sun: prince wants to get a tan just to get darker than Draco, makes sense. Also truly one of the horned species war of the time 0:45 i love what you did to the madou part to make the voice sound deeper and more seriously dark toned
Is "Squares' new favorite uncle" in reference to the common headcanon/fan theory that Marle is the same type of being as Lillith or did I miss some plot point due to being unable to win the final Squares fight no matter how hard I tried?

Because the word Satan in Japan does not have the same connection as it does in English. To Japan "Satan" is what "El Diablo" is to us. It doesn't pack the same punch as "Satan". Which suits Puyo Satan. In that sense, Dark Prince is a great localization, because Satan is too loaded and not fully representative of the Puyo character.
