I invaded a true RPG team. As well as other Invasions using a quality build centered around a wide variety of weapons 🎮 TWITCH ➔ / chasethebroyt 📱 DISCORD ➔ / discord 🐦 TWITTER ➔ / chasethebr0 📸 INSTAGRAM➔ / chasethebro
Lmao so i apprently cut out the end of the invasion where i was about to say what spell he was using. It was dead again. Also the invasion ended like this for anyone interested ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GBM7wCkuDUs.html
@@komodo9452 how is it not in character? Mages are almost always DPS role in most games unless they are support role mages like healer or some kind of other specialized support role.
Playing in an RPG team was always my alltime dream in dark souls 3, instead for the last 1600 hours I've run around by myself with a giant bonk sword, naked, killing other hosts
The only thing the skull ring does is enlarge the enemies' detection radius. It is a completely worthless ring that does absolutely nothing, like the Calamity ring except not as detrimental.
I'm glad I wasn't the only one who caught that 😂 Damn it, I wanted to know what spell he thought the guy was using, and I got baited into something L E W D.
That rpg team was pretty legit though, probably a bunch of friends just having a good time. I’m working on an Ichigo build myself. Going for the Frayed Blade (bonkai) and Carthus Curved Sword for his first blade form. The low absorption has been the challenge so far, just rocking the Black Leather Armor and Fire Keeper Gloves/Skirt for the aesthetic.
@@Piratadoidao are you referring to Friedes armor (Ordained Robes) or perhaps Yurias armor (Black Dress)? Friedes doesn’t fit at all with its color scheme, and Yurias might work, but I don’t know if it will beat the current setup for the look.
@@TheOneWhoBugs yeah i just watched all the vaati videos about it. "Consider them part of your build." so i'm building a whole damn rpg team in elden ring? i assume theyre optional? what excites me the most is the implications of "passive healer summoner" playthroughs??? could be funny and trivializing. faith builds could have a bright future. but can invaders summon these phantoms??? this could be so much fun. im so hyped for this shit lmao.
@@petkofuchalski9809 im thinking that theyre going to use it as a way to counter gank in pvp. so 1 co-op partner will eat a slot that could have been an AI summon. but invaders dont get co-op without covenants so i think they'll let invaders summon their AI dudes for support vs ganks. fights would technically always be 3v3 so itd be sorta fair??? this makes too much sense to me to not be true. however invaders do tend to get shafted by game mechanics and it would be unlike fromsoft to do something that favored invaders. we will have to wait and see.
I don't know about that. What makes the souls series fun is that you can make almost any playstyle viable, and by having that rpg setting more importance you would be restricting in an indirect form the players to lure them to that playstyle alone. It usually happens to games with this kind of playstyle, they end up having squads with dedicated members as one class and its detrimental when there's no healer or tank, so players tend to play things they don't like for the sake of the game. I prefer the way it is now. You can always play like an rpg anyways.
The level of roleplay of the gang is amazing, no one breaks character in other of getting a cheap hit, the ranger gets really close twice and retreats, the healer had an opening and still it didnt wanted to attack.
I really liked the rpg guys. They had really good coordination, fun rules they seem to have applied to themselves, and didn’t fight like a cheesy gank, but instead went with the fun rpg comp schtick
That was wild. Whenever I play turn-based rpg's, I try to fill in the blank for what rpg's can't express through it's limited and rigid animations. This fight was how I really imagined how these battles would play out
9:30 - 9:44 is the most hilarious dialogue switch and I was not expecting it 😂 I wanted to know what spell you thought he was using and it just switched to "Cumstella" 😂
It caught me off guard too I am watching on my phone and I recently turned down the blue light on it and I thought it was that but it wasn't I really want to find out what it is so maybe I can do something similar to my game if possible
I scrolled down through comments specifically for this, hoping I wasn't the only one lol. I kept think how's dude chugging ashen estus yet getting hp from it. Then I seen the healers miracles were blue too.. I started rubbing my eyes like WTF IS GOING ON
@@Krystalmyth don’t care. Those were summoned enemy spirits, aka npcs. It has been clarified by item descriptions. The item used in the images and videos were used to summon select spirits that can be assigned to this box item.
watching your content is weird... eveythings inverted lol... i find myself rooting for the underdog, which in this scenario is an optimized 4 man gank squad.. crazy
"optimized" lol... we made it so the tank was fat rolling, the healer wasn't allowed to attack, the ranger was only allowed to use bows, and none of us had any estus - only Siegbräus to simulate consumable healing potions. The armor was purely for fashion. We were a 4 man gank squad, but we were far from optimized. Optimized for maximum memes/fun maybe ^^
@@Ynox54321 yooo! It was you guys? You guys are goats!!! Seeing you guys go up against chase got me rootin for you dudes! Hope to see you guys do the same with Elden ring one day!
It was! I failed in editing apparently. He used dead again and the invasion ended like this ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GBM7wCkuDUs.html.
its insanely impressive that the rpg team almost never panic rolled, especially the healer. They never broke formation or even overextended for more than a second. They played their rolls very well. Too bad Chase is a fucking god with plot armor thick enough to make an inch thick steel plate blush.
I had no idea that there were this many RPG teams running around, I did a DnD run with a few friends last year in DS3 and literally this week or next in Dark Souls 2, cool to see
I uhh was late to the party playing dark souls and seeing them play together makes me jealous lmao your videos are awesome it was fun hearing you so excited
actually i was lagging quite alot, can see where i teleported around right after the tank died... was laggy on and off for me so i rely on teammates so i stuck with healing
I think they might have just been trying to have fun clearing the game together, not everyone seems to be interested in invaders and just want the rpg aspect of doing dungeons and beating bosses, ive met a few people who have outright quit the game after one too many invasions while trying to just play the game.
I run into the RPG team every once in a while and the ranger will swap out to a mage/pyro/dark mage/lightning caster or a "tactician" that spams items. They are a really well built team tbh, and I love invading them more than any other gang. The challenge feels legitimate, fun and unique. If any of yall see this, keep it up! I love seeing your group when I invade. The only gang I actually like.
If I ran into an rpg team it would be the greatest achievement ever. Limiting yourself to a group all using a singular feature of the game limiting themselves in a game series that’s known for being so unforgiving. It’s pretty cool if you think about it. I’d love to see their trust and friendship in person and then crush it by mercilessly destroying them and taking advantage of their obvious disadvantage.
@ChaseTheBro *friendly wave. The healer from the rpg squad was me. just wanted to say hi :3. I've been playing fairly passive when I join in as a phantom and just focus on keeping everyone healthy and buffed.
They really should make a Souls-Like squad-based game where it's party versus party along with PVE elements it would be really interesting. The difficulty with leveling up a character and surviving the game world ontop of attacking or defending other player parties.
This is some cool gameplay and fun encounters, maybe I’ll get back into pvp if it ain’t dead on Console, might be some good fun! Also, what was it you had that made all magic look luminous blue? That was cool as hell!
Hello chase cool vid as always :D I have a question regarding invading and NG+. Can i Invade people in NG while i’m in NG+? Or can people invade me from NG while i’m in NG+ as long as we’re around the same soul level? I’ve played souls games for long but never wondered until now since I want to get back into the game before elden ring :D
