crazy that they're still breaking the game after all these years. so many strategies that could have been considered revolutionary are now obsolete to much simpler strategies that break the game even more.
havnt watched a DS1 run in years, i remember when people started using BoC strat and blew everyones minds but you guys are throwing homwards now and using bows for duke skip and seam walking tho??? this shits nuts, gona be like an OoT run by 2023.
There's an entire community still working at running the game faster and finding new glitches to do so. It's not like Dist is just pulling these new strats out of his ass.
This is a common way to kill him if you deal enough damage to his ankle (in short time), he will begin to stumble. if you deal more damage, he will fall on his ass. If that happens while he is standing on the small walkway (and is angled correctly) he will fall to his miserable death
There is another method where they dupe souls to level up INT and just run around blasting everything with soul spear. This is the route that doesn’t do that. They still use consumables but their main damage is from their moveset swaped dragon tooth.
Not sure if you're trolling, or just don't understand... In context of Dark Souls, "melee only" means no magic/miracles/pyro, but instead just weapons. Also, since the asylum demon is at the start of the run before the tactics used to make this melee-only run so fast can even be implemented, using firebombs (which make the first fight go faster) doesn't discredit the melee-only aspect of the run.
