First phase is nothing interesting but boy, does that second phase make my jaw drop. Makes me wonder if the actual fight could have been like that if FromSoftware was keen on refining Soul of Cinder a bit more.
No. It's not that they didn't refine it enough, it is just as it should be. The first phase has all the fighting styles of the ashen one or the chosen undead and the moves are basically the same as the main weappns classes we can wield but abviously slightly more cinematic. The music starts off with a more battle themed take on the start of the firelink shrine theme from ds1. While in phase 2 the music changes into gwyn's theme, all his mives come back: the way he has charged, powerful and precise swings with his sword, his kicks and grabs, with the addition of the lightning attacks. It is just as it should be
this is worse lol, stop thinking that any shitty modded content that just add a lot of spells, weapon re skins and changes environment a little bit, like if a 5 year old made it, is better than the original game
This fight was a lot better in my memory of playing the mod. Honestly, not very impressive looking at it now. Aside from that one spin into slam move everything is just copied from Genichiro or Isshin, dude even has the attack tell for Lightning of Tomoe. Otherwise the moveset is basically unchanged, aside from that one wind projectile in phase 1. Which is such a shame. Though at least this means the fight is actually good, unlike the majority of the dogshit boss reworks and custom bosses in the mod. (Looking at you Royal Darkwraith)
At the time I hadn't played sekiro so this boss fight was MAD CRAZY for me but after finishing sekrio and rewatching this yeah it does recycle alot of moves besides that the spells are really good in the mod
dude youve made my heart broke for how majestic is the mod of the boss wish it has more moves than just repetitive spam attacks or slow attacks from the original , if its more challenging then, i wish you could added to my game , even though i have so many ideas to agree the animation for the boss is still entertaining , ¿how did you make a mod like this?
Goddamn, Phase 2 was a SPECTACLE. Got goosebumps when he transitioned and the sky darkened, flashing with lightning, and Gwyn's theme started playing. This should have been the original.
