Chris Targia, I think Mikael's clean vocals has evolved a lot from Projector, although I prefer his growling style (that makes him my fave singer) by far.
This band never disappoints. Hail Mikael Stanne! After all these years his voice still better than 90% of Metal vocalists. I can't wait to see them live in New Mexico.
This album got me through my first loss, every song could resonate with some feeling I had during my grief, if I ever get the chance to meet them, I'll thank them, because without them my grief would have killed me. Ive come so close to just ending it all, but thanks to this music, I can keep going.
Love the feeling of listening to a band after coming back to them since your teenage days. So satisfying, DT's sound still gives me goosebumps. Also I like that the video reminds me of what it might be to be lost inside R'lyeh
my most favorite song from these guys has to be the mundane and the magic. over the years they have put out so many great albums and I have high hopes for the next one. this song is great and just what I want to hear from them can't wait to hear the whole album

Still remember those long 10-12 km running treks in the sunset with this song on my headphones in 2017, a couple of weeks after graduating. So lovely, so full of life, so metal... And so much nostalgy right now.
Damn, I just realized that tomorrow will be this song's anniversary. I randomly stumbled upon a Dark Tranquillity song today and it started a DT listening. The first song I had to blast was Atoma, it holds a special place in my heart and my life's philosophy, the first verse is a core component of my determination and self-esteem that I repeat to myself whenever I'm in doubt. (Paracelse's law being the other one - the dose makes the poison) Thank you DT, 6 years ago I was very depressed, a lot of things kept me alive and I'm thankful for all of them, but this song still prevents me from falling to this day, a true masterpiece I'll cherish 'til I fall.
At the age of 26, i still hail the effort DT puts in music. Melody was what i got when i was 11, no one gives a fuck these days. But the memory remains. Thank you DT, thank you for all of these.

Not 100% sure, but I'd say: Secretively -> Secretly Wanted -> Wanting (and come back doesn't sound quite right either, but can't figure out what's there, maybe "come down"?) The "will overcome" sounds exactly like "we'll overcome" would, but the latter sounds to me like it's more in line with the more optimistic tone of the song, Great job though, thanks for getting them!

I haven't listened to these guys since We Are The Void. This is definitely something I wasn't expecting from these guys. I love the keys. Really adds that level of ambiance to the rest of the song.
I loved DT, since Punish my heaven, but 3 decades later they still make songs that are amazing. Please keep up the great art, music, lyrics, lives... you are one of the greatest groups ever to experience, thank you :)
2016 has been quite a year. What with Be'lakor and Insomnium having outstanding releases... AND NOW DARK TRANQUILITY IS BACK! (FANBOY SCREAM!) And...they sound awesome. Nuff said!

I used to play the Fiction album on repeat to get through some boring work days. After discovering this song I had to add this album to my rotation. Amazing atmospheric vibes from their music.
This is just a great song! It's very atmospheric like Dark Tranquillity always is, but another flavor than their fast songs. I can see myself listening to this on rainy city nights, looking or longing for something or someone... Whether you listen to At The Gates, In Flames or Arch Enemy... Dark Tranquillity definitely earns their place among them as Gods of melodic death!

I love the Fact how a few years ago i stumbled onto this Amazing Band all by myself, no recommendations, nobody telling me "listen to this band" , No Advertisements, No Algorythm, Just browsing around for Metal Bands that i havent Experienced yet with New Metal coming out- its Fantastic
Look, look dear In Flames. There is possible to do clean vocals, borderline electric riffs and softer tones without sounding total bullshit. Here is the prime example.
Well, I'm a big fan of weird cross-style music (Blood Stain Child anybody?). And there is something in this song that made me love it. I would say that DT stepped only one from the genre while IF made 2 or even 3 steps not in the right direction. Which sucks, because they are one of my favorite bands.
Loomy, DT has been doing this style since the late 90's with Projector and Haven... if anything they haven't changed enough. No idea where you're getting the idea that they've changed into anything 'pop'-like.

Dark Tranquillity! Met them in Portland last Nov. I was the only one at the meet and greet. Crazy! They were so awesome even so. My favorite band! This song is fucking epic!! They are awesome live and sound great!! Go and see this band!
