There are no cleave blessings for the chain axe. Headtaker + Thunderous, Headtaker + Bloodletter, or Headtaker + Thrust are the best options depending on what you want. I like Thunderous, kills crushers in 4 light attacks and stunlocks them while doing it. The only non-damage blessing for the chain axe is Rev It Up. Can also go Slaughterer instead of Headtaker if you prefer, but it stacks slower and the breakpoints you hit on Headtaker are good enough, crushers in 4, ragers in 2, heavy gunners in 1 with no weapon special necessary on any.
I feel like play styles are largely based on a players skill level and also who they normally play with. In other words, if a player is not capable of performing high level game play with high level knowledge of the game then critiquing their gameplay is pointless. That being said, it's always good to hear what a high level player would do in certain situations.
Good vid but you need to make it a rule that a submission has to include their build for future videos, either in the vid or as a link to a recreation in the gameslatern build maker. Would make finding redundancies and more where to better allocate them way easier
He was not going to die instantly when he was not using the medstim, because he had his inmortallity pasive. He was fine until he would have lost that.
Another helpful upload. I'm very guilty of under-using my abilities as well, hangover from other games where it's very much "save it until you really need it" mindset, fostered by far longer cooldowns than really exist in DT. A habit I'm actively trying to break by playing at a very low difficulty, and spamming my abilities pretty much on CD just to get used to it... not a great way to use them obviously, but it's helping to get over that mindset. From there it should hopefully be easier to get better at using them sensibly.
As someone who just rolled a couple semi-god roll chainaxes I think I can comment on this particular weapon choice a little bit. The idea of bringing a chainaxe is that you ABSOLUTELY DEMOLISH any single target you encounter. A Mk12 with carapace damage, Thunderous and Bloodletting can reliably oneshot crushers with rev heavy attack even on the body, and the brittleness and 16 stack bleeding alone is enough to kill anything smaller than a mauler.
Hey Tanner just a heads up on the rev up boss weakspot. That glitch where it stops me from hitting the weakspot on the beast of Nurgle happens every single time to me on zealot.
