It's always interesting to see how the Imperium truly does represent all four of the Chaos Gods, even though they actively try not to. Relentless slaughter and carnage of xenos, heretics, and daemons. Blood is for the Blood God, skulls are for the Skull Throne. The Inquisition torturing, the constant need for breeding, all the excess that happens emotionally. Slaanesh feeds off of excess. Corpse Starch, people being crammed into filthy cities, etc. Papa Nurgle being, well, gross (I still love him.) The Inquisition lying, backstabbing, fueling distrust. Just look at the Infantryman's Primer! It's all propaganda lies! Tzeentch is proud.
3:45 I can hear someone having unpleasent thoughts about me... again. Poking around my head again? Let me know where I placed my lucky rock (1 second later) A soldiers favorite gift - a grenade!
Ogryn: Ha ha, I love dis job! And I got it cuz I said the cardinal’s ‘at looked funny, I did! Zealot: There is nothing humorous about the constant war for humanity’s very soul! Of course you would dare to trivialize those who fight against the many enemies of the Emperor! Ogryn: Bah! You’re not as funny as a hat!
I love the one where either the zealot or psyker answer the verteran with something along the lines of, "seeing as how you're here with us, looks like you didnt last long in the guard." I didn't expect the dialogue to be as funny as it is.
If there are other teams doing some apparently ‘real nasty work’ and we regularly cut our way through thousands of enemies a level whatnre those guys dealing with?
@@stormlordeternal7663 i suspect they given the ammo needs are at min sisters of battle or even astarties who have leansed their weapons to the trader for the betterment of the imperium.
Man I really like the professional veterans attitude and down to earth charisma hearing sometimes how he talks about being a trader and possible smuggler i imagine he was the guy you go to if you needed something.
i heard the "let me know if you find out where i left me lucky rock" well playing ogryn with the rock and i immedietly said in text chat "is this it?" as i threw it at an enemy and the player broke down laughing
02:29 Kind of a standard, maybe even a bit "cliché" French accent. I like it. There needs to be so many other accents, maybe even languages, to be made available.
@@Korvinian4601 Not that you mention it... it does indeed (at least to my ears) sound like a French-speaking African would sound like when speaking good English.
No, the voices are all the same since release. However, as you level up (and as your squadmates do too), new dialogue crops up. It's less snippy and angry, and more...somewhat cooperative, with a good deal of rumination. It's supposed to represent your squad becoming more cohesive as you fight longer together.
Hehe, they should ask Blizzard if they could add the Terran Marines from Starcraft 1 The aestetics here is pretty much what I would expect from a Starcraft game. What if a modder got the models from the cinematics and rigged the model and added it to the game? Anyway this game looks greate. And dialoges are interesting and funny.
Starcraft was originally supposed to be a 40k Game, but GW pulled out of the deal I think, and Blizzard didn't want to lose out on all the development they did. Zerg = Tyranids Terrans = Imperium Protoss = Eldar
