We will NEVER forget… Darryl Worley stopped by the Country Rebel Ranch to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the tragedy of 9/11. We remember those who helped others in need, we remember how we all came together in unity, and most importantly we remember those we lost. Hope, resilience, and unity lifted us up as a nation. Twenty years later, these lessons are more important than ever.
Darryl Worley has partnered with retired Army Green Beret and Afghanistan combat veteran Master Sergeant Andrew Lang to raise awareness and proceeds to support military charities for veterans. We will NEVER forget! I’m a New Yorker and I had family an neighbors lost I saw my uncle walk across the Brooklyn bridge, covered in suit, I watched my friend weep as his dad a fire fighter lost his life to save others, I will NEVER let my kids be raised without knowing what happened and the amazing unity we had together, we stood with our neighbors we wept, with our pastors we prayed! It’s time we REMEMBER together what that day brought to all of our lives not just us her in NY but the country, I will never forget I will never let the day pass without remembering an I will never forget the truth! I am so heartbroken by this lack of memory we have going on here, but I have faith in god!! Turn your faith back to the lord we must pray 🙏 god bless anyone who reads this comment. We honestly are not in the same America we once were, but we still are Americans we’re still here, and we need to support each other, I am so happy to hear a song being made about this, it’s so hard to feel as if your not alone in our memories these days 🙏😓

I used to commute from Staten Island via the Light Rail and PATH, so I'd pass through the WTC every day. I had changed jobs two years prior but I still worked in Manhattan. What a day... The train was halted just before the tunnel and we saw the smoke from the first plane. When we finally got into Penn Station, we exited to the sight of the smoke from the second plane. It took me 8 hours to finally get back home. Spent two hours with the family before I headed out to report to my unit, as we were now on emergency alert...What a day it was. I knew people who worked in the towers, too. I've been up to the observation deck a few times. And I even know a guy who helped build the towers. So many memories return around this time every year. I will never forget!! God Bless America!

No lack of memory from this proud American I disappointed too seems our leaders have forgotten! I will never forget I am not a crying person but I sat in tears as I listened once again to families talk and names read off. It's raw like the sadness I felt when it happened. I hung my flag 🇺🇲. I was 8months pregnant living in las vegas. I also had a 10month old son. My friend called, told me to turn on the tv. I did just in time 2see 2nd plane hit. I remember the silence & unity in the weeks after. No planes in the sky. God bless Everyone who lost so much that day. I will never forget!

I haven’t forgotten the sound of my daughters voice. She called me that day after hours of waiting to hear her voice. She had just moved to DC and was a mile from the White House. She graduated from four years of college and landed a job and place to live with a stipend. We took her to the airport a few days before 9/11 and said goodbye at the gate. When she called me from DC just a mile from the White House where she lived, She said she could still see the smoke from the pentagon. She said, mom, with a shaky tear filled voice, if we go to war I want to come home. I haven’t forgotten. The last time we said good bye at the gate. The blessing it is to have her here on earth 20 years later. The random acts of kindness Americans were doing everywhere. The heroes running into danger as others ran away towards safety. The soldiers who didn’t want to talk about their experiences and the few that did. I will not forget that love must win over hate. Love your family. Be kind to strangers. Life is all too short.

@@wildestcowboy2668 Paris Landing in Buchanan TN at Kentucky Lake. They have the Tennessee River Jam every year. It's hosted by the Paris TN Chamber of Commerce I believe. I may be wrong about that. They have the annual Worlds Largest Fish Fry in Spring and then TN River Jam in late June. You should check out both if you're in the area!

Country radio should play your song every day, and every night! I'm a veteran, and I have a number of friends and family members who have fought in our wars. I'm so very proud of their service! I would come and watch the "original" video pretty regularly over the last many years and I never could get through watching it without tearing up and shaking. Growing up outside of Fort Bragg ive had alot of friends who have fought and died in Irag and Afghanistan. Every year on the 4th of July there was a festival on Base. One year Darryl Worley played at the festival. First time i had ever heard of him or heard him play. One of the songs he played that day was this song. And today i still say this song means alot to me. I was 7 years old on September 11th 2001 and i can stand here 20 years later saying I Haven't Forgotten.

No SIR! I have Not Forgotten! And though I'm now a 56 yr old Widow, I was a 36 yr old Newly Wed that Day. My Husband and OUR Maintenance Crew were in Hackberry Louisiana, at the Salt Domes. We were in Morning Turn out meeting, when the radio in the background Began telling what was happening. And at the EXACT same time, the Military Arrived at Our work Post to Protect OUR OIL RESERVES. The Air was Silent Except for those 2 Sounds. The Horrific Attack Over the Radio and the Arrival of The Military and then Suddenly Military Jets and BLACK HAWKs Overhead. We were all struck with Terror and Sadness. May GOD BLESS AMERICA AND MAY AMERICA NEVER EVER FORGET ❣️ AMERICA IS ALWAYS ONLY ONE GENERATION AWAY FROM FREEDOM!!! 🇺🇸

When 9/11 happened my father had just enlisted less than 2 weeks prior and my mother was on the kitchen floor bailling her eyes afraid to bring me into a chaotic world. But they pushed on to create the best life that they could for me. I am 19 years old and proud to be an american

I will always remember, I was in school I came home a hugged my parents so hard, I sobbed so hard. Yesterday (9/11) I still cry even 20 years later.

I will never forget, I was in 1st grade, I was only 6, I don’t remember a lot about that day, I just know I was in school and I know what happed and the heartache, I know so many lost their life that day and many more have lost their lives since because they helped and breathed in all of the junk in the air that day, RIP all of the people lost on that terrible day 20 years ago.

I was an Air Force brat at Wright Patt AFB when this song came out and I remember I'd just listen to it over and over and just cry. I've always been so affected by this day. Thank you for this song and thank you for your support of our men and women in uniform, and their families. I will never forget this day.

One of the most amazing songs written to honor those we lost on 9-11. Twenty years later and the footage, and interviews on tv made me and my family cry so much. My heart still hurts for everyone who died and the families they left behind. Thank you Darryl for this song! And no, we don't have to worry about that SOB anymore.

I will never forget, and I'm still mad as hell!!! I had worked my 12 hour shift at the hospital. I went to my brother and sister in law's house to babysit their children, Gracie who would turn two on the 17th of September, and Gabie was four months old. My brother came through the door and said, "turn on the TV the world trade center was hit by a plane, and they think it may be terrorism!" I turned on the TV and watched in horror as the second plane hit the tower. That was when I knew we were under attack. I seen those buildings on fire, and I watched as people began jumping to their deaths rather than be burned alive. I remember seeing the desperate situation they were facing. My niece was in the room, as small and young as she was, she pointed at that tv and she said, owwie, as I picked her up and held her, with tears streaming down my face, I told her, yes baby, a very big owwie. I have tears streaming down my face even now as I recount this horrific day. It has been 20 years ago now, I'll never forget, I'll never not be angry about it, and I will never forgive those demonic bastards that did this to my countrymen and women!
