Can you move 1/2 a dart so that you keep 1/2 and add another dart using the remaining volume?

Can you manipulate the waist darts (the diamond shaped dart) ?

Can we move the waist dart too ? What if I want to eliminate the waist dart and add a mid armhole dart instead?

Thanks for this video, it is really useful. But what I discovered is that when you move the arm hole dart to bust area, the armhole round is short and when you extend it out the back patten does the not align again. Pls can you do a tutorial on that. Thanks alot for you help
