First clip - two cars were ALREADY IN THE INTERSECTION when they stopped for the emergency vehicles. LET THE CARS IN THE INTERSECTION GO!! Don't be arseholes!! They entered the intersection while they had a green light, THAT'S THE LAW (at least in Queensland).
I thought I was the only one that noticed this, This is all too common now though everyone thinks they are more important then everyone else unfortunately
The number of drivers who have been aware of the complete idiots around them and stopped or otherwise avoided them safely despite feels higher than usual this week.
Lol what about the idiots who are recording them selves yelling abuse at someone for making a minor mistake lol aussies really are the laugh of the world eh
To be honest officer as this is my first time I'm not sure I could give you the best opinion. How bout you advertise for some one with at least 15 years of experience like everybody else
0:46 did someone really press their horn, are they that impatient? Also, don't people need to give way to the DC already in the intersection regardless of what the lights are?
Yes. You still have to wait for the intersection to clear before you go when it's green. Especially if 300 police cars just went past with lights and sirens. Either those people are completely blind or they need to go sit the learners test again.
Yes, too many people just see "Green = Go" and are completely oblivious as to what the actual laws are. DC had right of way to clear the intersection before the other cars could go. Same for the grey sedan next to DC.
TBH, seems like a weird layout. That stop line being so far back and with a red light, why all the stop signs on the light posts? Too cheap to put in proper pedestrian lights and paint a zebra crossing by the look of it.
10:53 - Tech Note Only - if you get a dashcam and it's sharp on close items and soft on far away, try gently rotating the M12 threaded lens clockwise (inwards on the thread) to get better focus on items further away. If it gets worse, rotate it the other way. Same goes with Action Cameras - rotating the lens outwards can turn them in to a great Macro camera.
@@CraigTaylor yeah. The Falcon driver didn't check his mirror, but given that both drivers wanted to leave a banked up lane quickly, the cammer could've let that pass. It happens all the time in peak hour traffic. As long as people indicate and you can see what's happening 🤷
@@doctorbohr1585 Well he obviously did check his mirror and waited for the other car to go by. How the fk is he supposed to know the DC is gonna swerve into the other lane and speed up?
8:01 congrats to the cyclists who obeyed road rules and walked their bikes across the crossing. Seriously impressed! Old chap probably should go to spec savers... clearly didn't see the red "don't walk" signal
That only applies to NSW and VIC. The rest allow you to ride across, although some impose speed limits and few other variations, but the key part is you _can_ ride across them.
0:00 Krispy Kreme had a special on 24 packs 2:18 DH1 meeting DH2, not sure which is the prime DH 2:55 I have started slowing down in these situations due to watching DCoA vids and seeing how many complete blind idiots are on our roads 3:45 Of course it a f*ckin' Ranger 5:54 That was a stale orange 12:29 Get this person a job as a traffic cop, awesome pit maneuvre 13:10 I like how DC overtakes the bus is as dangerous a manner as the small car 13:20 "That looks dangerous" and proceeds to follow closely, oddly enough following closely stopped him from getting hit by flying steel 14:00 "There was supposed to be an Earth shattering kaboom!" 21:54 100% looking at their phone. Have you ever wished someone would run into a barrier or something to teach them a lesson?
2:18 prime DH is the DC for not expecting someone else to do the same thing, then cracking a spaz because of it 5:54 light was yellow for the entire clip, so safe to assume it turned yellow milliseconds before it starts. Still has zero bearing on the driver who failed to give way from the slip lane.
4:13 bloody school pickup & everyone has to drive to pick up little Timmy. I don't blame him! 19:38 New RR, would have had a rear camera and warning sounds & still rammed backwards.
Yeah the over queuing of the roundabout actually makes that move somewhat acceptable. If there is no space in the dropoff/pick up zone just keep on driving past... don't blockade an entire intersection...
You have to wonder how some people even get home after a round at the pub. FORD Ranger drivers are the most narcissistic, inconsiderate drivers in Australia!!!
14:05 Crashes into a house. Restarts and wipes out the letterbox. But at least it looks like they indicated when getting back on the road again from the footpath.👏
1:33 - "You shut up front you shut up awright " is a funny way of apologizing. 11:01 - You could always report that stretch Chrysler 300 to authorities, stating the driver is having difficulties holding their lane, and swerving erratically. Don't say they're intoxicated or drugged, say you're concerned they're having a "medical incident." 12:23 - The first time I've ever seen a TicTac candy PIT itself. 13:43 - I am hereby revoking your Marvin the Martian Decal privileges!
So I took a look at the footage and have determined that the driver was not on their phone. Firstly, they have their head high up, and they are looking straight, probably to avoid the glare. If they were on their phone, they would have to be looking down to see it. And secondly, you can see when he moves his hand that there is no phone, he reaches for the handbrake.
People run into cars in front of them on highways, literally right in front of them, on a dry road, on a clear day, what chance do we have of ever reducing crashes while reversing
That Range Rover at 19:34. I'm like, the proximity sensors would have been beeping at the driver as soon as they put it into reverse. How oblivious can you be?
0:01 it's like the clown car, they just keeping coming, lol 4:39 did anyone else wonder about the clinking bottles? 😉 5:36 catch me if you can 7:33 👏👏👏 9:57 I'd shit myself if that was me. Note to self, always drive with all the doors locked 12:12 we all mess up and some time and get a bit distracted, but an apology wave - 'sorry about that' - is important 13:21 I actually ducked 😆 14:22 it's one thing to drive like an idiot and wrap yourself around a pole or something, but those type of douches always end up taking innocents with them - 17:51 example two 21:49 I'm jober as a sudge ossifa 🥴
I love watching this channel...I love how the Aussies make their own lanes don't let barriers deter them as they go over under and thru whatever is in their way no issues when their vehicles are damaged and most of all disregard for human life...I'm sure it's a small percentage of Aussies that do these crazy things that are posted...still I'd not want to drive there...have enough issues in the US.
5:50. Lane filtering, legal, lane filtering at 95 kmh, definitely illegal, maximum speed for lane filtering is 30 kmh, doing it past two Police vehicles definitely stupid considering that all Police vehicles have dashcam systems, my guess is that the rider would have gotten a visit from or pulled over by some of their associates a little later that evening perhaps?
@@Nicko_1, it does look as if you are correct, nice pickup; but riding they way that he does will be his undoing, I wish him no harm, however, as a rider myself I can safely say that he will probably end up on the tarmac at some point in the future unfortunately, in what condition I cannot say but..................................Slow Down, Enjoy the Ride, Stay Upright. Cheers.
@18:28 "She looks so embarrassed". That's good. We all fuck up, but watching these videos makes me think there are few of us who can own it, and learn from it.
Cabbie was in the wrong. Illegal 3 point turn over double white lines. There was a round-a-bout just ahead where the cab could have turned around and not held up traffic.
I am Australian, live in Asia, but I astounded by the lack of patience, tolerance, foresight, driver awareness, and courtesy displayed by the drivers in this video. I think I prefer driving here than in Australia.
People in bitumen coloured cars swearing when they are obviously missed. They should understand that if they have a stealth car, they should not be surprised when people do not see them and drive accordingly.
Yeah, it looked overcast in one of those too, was thinking the same thing. We have a silver volvo which can blend into the grey sky, so always drive with the lights on.
Here by me it is 12 bike cops ahead and rear, 6 X5 protection vehicles, 6 Range Rovers, another 4 X5 BMW's, all of them black. All vehicles are bullet proofed. Needs 6 cars because of the wives, who do not get on with each other.
They all want a piece of the pursuit. Their superiors should be on the radio to tell half of them (at least) to stand down and get back to normal duties. Friggin cowboys.
How to spot americans in the comments: They've made a _"Cops love donuts"_ joke about the first clip, referencing US-brand donut stores we don't have in Australia.
Such a huge country with huge roads and lots of space, only 25-27million Roos living there and still having a lot of dashcam videos like this, makes you wonder if not more of the people down under should have their licence taken away, if they have one. Enjoy your country more and the good weather and be more aware of one another.
@@myopinion69420 yes the DC did they continued to stop at the red as they were not obstructing traffic. The person who csme past on the left had not entered the intersection
@@davela79 if you look right at the beginning, as the DC driver comes to a stop, you see the frontend of the other car, so they were also in the intersection. not sure what was behind them, they may not have been able to reverse like the DC and were getting beeped at.
07:30 old mate wants to get in right line for some reason even though there is no room and he should just drive straight and use an alternative route then goes over the stop line and triggers the right light camera.. Good one you muppet.
Yup. And even if the bus hadn't had right of way, it'd still be really silly to undertake a large vehicle that's got its left blinker on. Given a choice, the correct option is always "do NOT play chicken with a large vehicle".
