This very easy recipe is very tasty indeed. With chopped dates giving a fruity sweetness and buttery biscuit has extra taste and texture from flaked almonds. Delightful with a cup of tea.

Hello again, Mr Cooper! Dates and their strange appearance... 😅. Ok dates are now one of the best dried fruits for me, and I was even told they were good substitutes for sugar. Unfortunately I'm not going to bake those cookies for now, but I do need to say that they look delicious. Cookies and biscuits are always good with a good cup of coffee/tea, and yours are amazing. Thank you once more, Mr. Cooper!

Hi Geoff, beautiful cookies, thank you…… we love home-made cookies and will definitely make these….. I’ve got to say, Johns brother brought us a box of the brand BORDERS mixed selection cookies last week and they were so good, we ate the whole box in about 3 days! So if you haven’t tried the brand and fancy a break from a bake I certainly recommend them…..I also wholeheartedly agree with Henrietta’s comment…..hope all is well Geoff…..love Jan xx❤xx

Hi Caz. Maybe just a little. I think if the dates were in slightly larger pieces, than I chopped them, that might me more noticable.

Hiya Geoff... I know it wontvbe called date & Almond... Unfortunately I have no dates to hand, could you use some other dried fruit or chocolate pieces??
