Guys.. you have to REALLY pay attention to *what women are doing* (and less to what they say). Case and point, look at the change in the women's facial expression at 7:32-7:35. She clearly isn't into the man, and even moves away from him a bit once the picture is taken. Be Observant! These micro behaviors are your key to how a woman actually feels about you.

I'm an Aussie.....been travelling to Thailand since 2003....I would never contemplate any dowry.....reason being I too have culture so a Thai woman needs to compromise or it's a NO from me....

One VERY important thing seldom mentioned about Thai ladies is gambling problems. They are capable of giving up smoking. alcohol and even drugs, BUT they will never give up a gambling habit. They will lie, cheat and steal to keep that habit. I can tell of some of those experiences but I won't bother except to say that the gambling addiction habit has destroyed many lives.
Each Thai woman has one local husband/man and three western friends, one in UK, second in Sweden and third in Germany. She and her local man lives comfortably on income provided by the western men. Any western man call her she answer I love you but has no meny (money), send me more meny.
If you are the foreign man with the money, only spend what you want to. Dont worry about the culture, if she has a problem with it send her on her way. Your next girlfriend is only minutes away

Another important thing to remember & mindful is that just in case you begin to loose money or fall sick suddenly, beware they're damn good in using magic spells(aka vodoo)Thailand has many shamans the good & the bad. Relationships (regardless of dating/marriage and nationality/upbringing are all a lot of work. I've been married twice and although I am still married to my second wife (and likely will be with her until I die) it's VERY hard to deal with the upkeep of it all. Supporting your family financially, being emotionally available, and keeping your head held high sounds easy (and it is at first) but after many years it takes it's toll... Especially if you are more of a hermit-type like I am. I've never had any problem with women as I am relatively good looking but my "battery" runs out quick if too much is going on at once. There are many times I wish I had just stayed single so I could have more money, less stress, and more free time but being single has it's negatives too, mainly loneliness which can lead to depression. My first wife was from my home country and my second wife is a foreigner and while things started off very differently they ended up being eerily similar as the years passed. The only real differences are that my ex was extremely jealous of other women and accused me of cheating all the time and my now-wife doesn't care at all about it as long as I tell her (so she can join in as she is bisexual) but is a bit more financially needy and worse with money. Then again, my first wife came from a rich family so she was naturally better with money due to that and my second is from a poor, rural family so she never had much money at all until she met me. I have worked on helping her budget better while shopping and she has done better about buying store-brand items or items on sale but she still likes to eat out a lot because she never even ate at a restaurant before we met (when she was 18) which honestly surprised me. She just loves to be served food instead of having to cook despite being a very good cook. But from my experience with over a dozen girlfriends and two wives (of many races) is that women are generally the same regardless of where they are from. The biggest factor in regards to a woman's character is her upbringing. If they are from a rich background they are generally more intelligent but more strict as well. If they are from a poorer upbringing they aren't as intelligent but a lot more "go with the flow". My ex-wife was smarter than I was but was no fun to be around as she wouldn't let me drink or hang out with my friends so it made the marriage impossible for me. My current wife is more fun to be around by far and let's me do whatever I want (within reason) but isn't nearly as fun to talk to because most of what I say just goes right over her head. And yes, my wife is basically an ex-bar girl who did it for 2 months before we met so I guess I snatched her up before she got too corrupted by society, she also only had one prior boyfriend and one prior girlfriend. My ex-wife, despite her better background had been with dozens of men and I run into her exes all the time to this day which I just find ironic. Sorry for rambling or whatever. Was procrastinating changing my cars oil lol 😆.
Its probably good advice. ^^ It cant hurt at least. Somehow i could bypass these kinds of relationships mostly. I have a wife from Ubon Ratchatani, im not old (we are 7 years from eatch other) and i didnt had to pay a baht yet for the family (we are together since 2009...). Thats not saying i never supported them, but if i did it was always completely on my own. I also had other relationships, long term and not one of them had me asked for money. There was one, yes. But i met her in Nana, so maybe thats the thing. And even her was actually rather "good" in heart and took what was possible out of her own pocket, to support the family. Dont look for women in bars and you will have a way easier time. Like, take someone from the south or something. They rarely send money to family. Or choose one who has a daytime job, like clinic/office etc and can support herself. Then you can still add ontop to bring that addon into her life. But its so much more real like this. Thats not to downrate the video though, im sure one will find these relationships still.
Yes it is But it doesn't have to be a formal wedding I am now considered to be a husband to the woman i met 18 months ago all we had to do was pay her mother a dowery and are man and wife.

Yes and no about marrying the whole family. The are two types of Thai women. There is the Thai woman and then there is the Thai Chinese women. To make short a Thai Thai woman, yes, you will will also be supporting her family. You will also find that her family is far more important than you. You will be lucky if some of the family don't move in with you. I married a Thai Chinese girl (now married 26 years) Chinese custom is for the wife to be the new daughter to the husband family. This is probably due to the fact the oldest Don will inherit the families wealth. My wife was happy the she did not have to worry about taking care of my family. As for giving giving money to the family, that only happens on Chinese New Year when my wife gives a red envelope with cash to her parents, at the same time her parents give our 16 year old a red envelope. As for our marriage, we had the ceremony in a church even though my wife was Buddhist, she wanted to wear a white gown, the reception was held at a hotel with over of a hundred relatives attending all leaving red envelopes that actually paid for the wedding and reception. In my case no dowery was asked probably because I was 24 years older than my wife and both of us had university degree (my wife a pharmacist I a Construction Manager for a major oil company) I also promised her parents I would send her daughter to America for a Master's Degree which I did (she graduated in 2 years with a 4.0 average) and I'd now a department director at our largest city hospital where me and or so are treated free. I know of other foriegner that have married Thai Chinese girls in similar situations. But you will not meet these ladies in a bar, nor will they waste their time with you unless you are successful or have a university degree.
Good tips after traveling to Thailand many times, You have heard so many bar girls said story you could write many books of what went wrong. And if not that then choosing the wrong women even if she is not a bar girl. Just as anywhere else you have to be in your toes to adviod the pitfalls and have seen the good side of Thai marriage to the envy of others.

Communication Trust and Respect are the basic for any relationship. If you don't overcome the language barrier, if any, act suspicious and do not share culture or make no effort to get to know the person and appreciate said person for whom they are; then how can a relationship "blossom" ?

Basically you're saying that to have a traditional woman (by the way they are simply beautiful) you have to be a traditional man, be respectful, be careful, take your time, don't believe all you hear, respect and get involved to her values, culture and principles, don't play around, don't be a fool neither a bad smartass, commit to your words and do your best and expect her best, and be happy. Be traditional to get traditional women and have a traditional, peaceful and happy life. And never forget that you will be dealing with a woman, traditional woman, in a beautiful country, a better perspective on love, loyalty, values, , goals from respect and family grow (if it apply) to investments, administration and savings and it's objective and having a better life... Who will not subscribe to that? Love, happiness, family, respect, peace of mind, reciprocity, valoration within a reliable and deep relation chance (most work than lucky) against what you most probably get on your home land.
