I use the dava picks but mine have a rubber grip to help me keep it in my fingers and they also have a sharp edge. I love them, you should check them out.
Little tip for you. keep your picks in a clear Tupperware container rather than bags, you can put a lid on it cart it around from venue to venue etc, gives a nice big container to spread picks around when you're fumbling around searching for one in particular.
Nicely done. I'll have to give them a try. I use Red Bear. They are thick. 2mm or greater. Expensive and hard to get. They also dissolve after a lot of interaction with sweat and hand oils.
Brother Eric, I've got kind of a bogus query here and I apologize for having to ask it but, I just learned some sad news about Willie Vega who did several videos on here about the DAVA picks and I can't seem to confirm what I've learned so, is it true that Willie is no longer with us? Details are not required, as it's horrible to hear someone checked out by their own doings and I'm just needin' to know if it is in fact true? I'd appreciate it brother.
Bo, until you mentioned this I had now idea who Willie Vega was, but I've watched some of his vids and must say he was a monster player. Sadly, from my research on both his RU-vid and Facebook pages, he is no longer with us.
