Dave is one the greatest of all time 🐐 Hope you enjoy ❤️ How To FAIL at Stand-Up Comedy: Avoiding the Pitfalls that Kill a Comic's Career Order book now: amzn.to/3s0bSpm
No. That is all thought thru during the months he practices working thru his act. This is what professional comedians do in small comedy clubs before they present their acts to a larger audience.
@@julianhermanubis6800 What would the audience know about the gay community? Theyre jokes. They dont actually have to contain a single grain of truth in them. Was his audience a bunch of gay historians and scholars? lol
People clap and cheer for him not only because he’s hilarious but because he has the balls to say what people don’t and he doesn’t let society shape the way he thinks and should say.
They clap and cheer for him bc he's a celebrity, it wouldn't matter what shit he said. That's the problem. He's kind of a dick on this shit, unfortunately.
@Bigheartoneggshells Comedy is subjective so if you don't find it funny, that is your opinion and that's fine. It doesn't mean he's not allowed to make such jokes and its not up to you to tell people what's funny and what's not.
@Bigheartoneggshells a joke is a joke, a 2yr old would get this. It either makes you laugh or it doesn't, but it all boils down to subjectiveness. That's it. If you get offended, you have a problem...because it's a fucking joke =)
@Ace-gi4bp I wouldn't say they are incomparable, because they have a lot of similarities, in that both their comedy is based on facts and knowledge, I just see George as being much more in depth and blunt in his form. But that could just be a result of the times, because there wasn't the cancel culture nazis and censorship back in Carlin's day, so he could get away with it easier, whereas Dave had them coming after him and managed to dodge it, at least so far anyway. Carlin was so often speaking truth, yet people are so indoctrinated that they laugh thinking it's comedy, when essentially he was just stating facts, Dave is doing the same, only I feel he is treading lightly, and I don't blame him, because he's seen first hand what the scum in power are capable of. I fear you've taken offence at my comment that Carlin was of a higher level, but that's just experience and as I said, a sign of this dystopian shit show we are living in. They're both in my top 5 comedians of all time.
Dave is always a f’ing trip, no one is safe from awesome humor, everyone gets skewered and TBH thank God he does it, it seems everyone is wound around the axel, everyone just needs to lighten up, life is short enjoy a laugh or two. I’ve loved Dave’s humor for it seems like decades
@Bigheartoneggshells He has made jokes about White, Black, Native Indians, Asians with not even a peep from any groups but joke about the Trans people and they want him cancelled. It's ridiculous.
Oh when he said “what is this high school?” He was talking about the crowd starting to boo the guy for having his phone on. Didn’t catch that the first time.
I wish we could just send all of the alphabet people to a place like Guantanamo Bay so that we don't have to see or hear about these disgusting people anymore.
A true comedian genius, it's a fine line between offensive and pure unmistakable brilliant. And doesn't cow town to anyone. A true American talent. Enjoy while we can.
@Bigheartoneggshells the problem lies in your penchant for shoving your lifestyle down everyone’s throats. Nobody cares about your insecurities, go about your life and leave other people the fuk alone. Especially children!Pretty simple really… Damn I just watched the video again… laughed like crazy!!!
@Bigheartoneggshells You’re exactly who needs this then. You’re way too sensitive. Dave is and has always been hilarious , as his comedy goes with what is going on in the world at the time. I’ve been watching his standup for over a decade and it’s always amazing and so funny. Life’s way better when you can laugh at yourself.
@Bigheartoneggshells you say that like he has no idea about oppression. The self importance is what he’s mocking, as he should. But @Joseph said it all - privilege is thinking you’re so special and the only one suffering.
Never really new much about Chappelle as a comedian or as a person .... But, After binge watching his stand-up and interviews today, I have a lot of respect for him, as a comedian and as a human being ...
So glad I’m here to see this man walk amongst us in these Times of such troubling hilarity. And that he is here to casual remind us, that when some are trying to be so oppressed and serious, the rest of us should just sit back, relax, and enjoy our miserable selves.
You know troubling hilarity times are present when you hear hilarious weird headlines like “california makes bees fish” right after a npr broadcast on state something “headlining” which is not related..or cheese trucks too dumb colored to live
I love it when, off the cuff, a comedian makes a hilarious detour from something unexpected that happens, like a phone rings during their performance. Chappelle is brilliant.
If you put yourself out there People will make fun of you. Ain’t no prejudice in that. People made fun of me for being short, people will make fun of you for something else.
My absolute favourite Comedian. I love his guts, I love his truth and the fact he spays what we all believe - well not all - the 'normal' folks. Love you Dave Chappelle, smart, knowledgeable, wise, educated and so so funny.
Simply the best to ever do it. Nobody is funnier. And its not even his jokes... it's his delivery. Even when he isn't telling a joke, he has me busting at the seams
Thre is so much depth to his comedy. If you said this about bald men, people with crooked teeth, or somebody who is perceived as a Hillbilly, the same people who get offended at DAve's humor would laugh at that.
Chapelle is a jewel of a human being. Also once they got to T, I also just started saying "the Alphabet people" - its faster than trying to learn their alphabet
