Literally everyone knew OJ did that. Even back then, the black people I knew admitted they knew he did it but still cheered for him getting acquitted. That was a long time ago, so I barely remember why. I THINK (but don’t quote me on this) there was some sort of court related injustice that had happened that made people especially happy about it. I remember my white family watching the court proceedings with fascination. We didn’t cheer, but we were still shocked and impressed. It was a compelling story and an interesting time.

This why I was laughing at all the goofys following the latest trend of hating anyone who disagrees with Katt Williams for some weird reason. People were going as far to call him a sell out and saying Katt was a greater comedian.. i'm like really... the guy who disappeared at the height of his fame with his show and turned down millions of dollars because of his beliefs... he's now a sellout for having his own opinion on what Katt did? And I guess everyone too young and don't actually know about Katt Williams enough to know Dave is his favorite comedian and he calls him the GOAT comedian a lot. Oh I see the Denzel / Jay-Z thing for sure. And then Dave is a little bit different, but I know what you mean though. Actually, you know what, now that I’m thinking about it, it’s kinda crazy I never thought of this before but each of the three of them embodies like a different element of the “it” (or the ism or the whatever else you wanna call it) that makes black american culture “cool,” you know what I mean? It’s like they’re all cut from the same cloth with that sort of effortless, nonchalant swag and the non-pretentious intellect and the contagious self-esteem (which, as an aside, just as a reminder to anyone reading this, self-esteem comes from knowledge of self, don’t ever forget it); but they each express it differently - with Denzel it’s more confident intensity and discipline, Chappelle it’s more of a laid-back or casual wisdom type of thing, and then Jigga just has that essence of like g code street knowledge and 100% authenticity. Damn, I put a lot more thought into this comment than originally intended.
