Lex, i loved that you saw and commented on his feet during this video. He is known for those feet and his impromptu dance moves during their sets. Amazing musician and entertainer!! ❤️
I was there. I was actually there with the producer of the documentary. We drove up together, from New Jersey to experience this amazing festival. It was HOT and peaceful. Until it wasn't! The prices of items were out of control. I think I ate 2 meals the whole weekend. A lot of people ran out of money. Also, I have seen Dave Matthews Band about 30 times, along with hundreds of other bands. Still, no one compares to DMB. They were in their prime, in my opinion from 1999-2004. The energy they brought to an arena is unparalleled. Thanks for the reaction, now, watch Don't Drink the Water-The Central Park Concert and give reactions!
I was there as well. Actually got to the front row by spraying people with water from bottles (think spray bottles your hairdresser uses). It was great as I was higher than high and nothing bad had started yet. Then Fatboy slim spun in the hangar that night... I brought 3 disposable cameras and still have the pictures to this day.
Glad you enjoyed this! I am a little shocked that as this moment , this video has very little views! Dave Matthews Band are their element playing live! Amazing musicianship, energy, and such as rapport ! Dave is a great guitar player and is surrounded by brilliant accompanies! I have seen them live many times! Great experiences! This band has many styles and influences, and are so diverse! Worthy of deep dive for music lovers! Thanks for the reaction! Wanted to share it with you both! Take care and peace to everyone!🤟🏻
I nearly died when I saw they were on at Woodstock 99 when the tragically hip were also there. Dave and Gord are so similar I think. I wonder if they ever met. My two favourite bands.
For me the most epic performance is their live at central park 2003 "All Along the Watchtower" not just the performance is great but the quality of the recording is so good for a live show, hope you can check it out.
Huge Dave Matthews fan! You guys should check them out next time they swing by your area. Incredible live performances. I bet seeing them at Red Rocks would be a great experience.
Great Dan Request Eric, really happy you choose a live version of this stellar artist and his fantastic band of musicians. Great reaction NicknLex and I also second Mattgarfinkle’s suggestion of going to see the Dave Matthews live. 😀
Great request, Eric! Dave definitely shines in live concerts. The studio versions often lack this kind of energy. Never seen a fiddle player that ripped!
Great performance!! Great shirts guys! The Sixth Sense, American Beauty, The Green Mile also were 1999 movie. But for me, 1999 is the year of 1st album of Jorane , that I discovered her and fell in love with her music & charisma.
Just stumbled onto your channel. Super stoked to see you covering DMB. I’ve seen them 48 times since 1998. You should really cover Bartender from Live At Folsom Field. BTW it’s Dave Matthews Band not just Dave. More or less the same guys since day one
Great request Eric! I think there's been a problem somehow with this video as it has only just now popped up on my notifications, two days late! Maybe that's why there are fewer views than you expected. I would have been first up watching DMB, quite probably my favourite band to see live ever! Every time they visit the UK I'm there, and I have every album (studio that is, live I would need a bigger house!) So many live albums 😢 But that is their forte, so good in the flesh. Nick and Alexia, you have to see them in concert. Boyd Tinsley on violin is no longer with them unfortunately so the dynamic is slightly different, and Leroi Moore on sax passed away over 10 years ago, but sax is still a huge part of their sound and the energy of the band is off the chart and I must mention Carter Beauford, drummer extraordinaire! This song is off the Crash album, released in 1996. Great video, great band, great song. I quite liked it 😢
Thanks for mentioning the possible problem with the video notification . I really am shocked that this did not garner more attention! There are so good live! I am going to see them in September at the Gorge in Washington! Really excited . Have not seen them in 7 years! Take care !🤟🏻
I've seen DMB 4 times and they are always awesome. They are so good live! Thanks and please go for more. "Ants Marching" is another great one and a big hit. Maybe after that start hitting some deeper cuts. Peace from SF
I have tickets to see them September 1st! It will be at The Gorge Amphitheatre in George Wa. one of the most beautiful venues in the world. Google photos of the place it's amazing. I've seen tons of bands there from Lallapalooza's and Sasquatch festivals to Tom Petty, The Cure, R.E.M. and more. They had a small jet airplane fly down through the canyon buz over the top of the croud from behind the stage to open Pink Floyd's show!
@@ericmeredith8754 Nice! I loved The Old European restaurant! I had a girlfriend who went out to school there. I'm currently living in Bellingham Wa. but grew up out in North Bend Snoqualmie Valley area! We're going to camp that friday night after the show so the drive won't be too bad. You as well(the bit about having a blast)!
