“Off the record” isn’t a legally binding agreement and doesn’t me you can’t use the information in the conversation. It just means that if you decide to honor the request you will not tie the information back to the person that said it. The underlying purpose of “off the record” is whistleblower protection from retaliation.

I think people are missing Daves point. The fact that she said "off the record" about something that wasn't bad makes it seem like she was joking, and she didn't actually care if it was public or not. If he genuinely thought she didn't want the information public I don't think he would've leaked it.

As far as the industry plant accusations go, I watched one of Bobbi's podcast premieres and there was literally one livechat comment the entire video. I don't think she is a plant but she/her husband definitely use bots for their Tiktok/RU-vid. Her husband is a very successful programmer with a best-selling novel.
