Andrew Schulz has been under fire this past week since a clip from an older Flagrant episode started going viral and people are not happy with how he treated Shane Gillis. Let me know what you think in the comments below.
This is so silly. How dyou explain the sold out arenas then? He just paid everyone to be there? Come on now, I know it's the fashionable thing to hate on him but pretending like he isn't funny is childish.
lmao what the fuck do you mean "more than"? Shane doesn't need him at all. He was just on SNL and his popularity is surging. Andrew Schulz is struggling to remain remotely relevant.
He’s gotten progressively gayer I blame akaash and charlagmane and painted nails Alex. They have the worst soy opinions on everything and it clearly rubbing off on Andrew. Very sad very gay
Yet you watch this video. This channel reports on comedy drama all the time, Not saying I don't like the videos here but this channels most popular videos are based on drama.
@@TheKirbyArts Yeah I see what you're saying and I think you're right but a middle ground is that there are people that are benefitting on this weird culture shit and just basically attributing to overall negativity, actual negativity not dark humor negativity
@@vatoz9694yes and I hate it. The ramifications of this type of culture so far are already sickening, it even went so far into every fray of society, acting, politics, regular day jobs around any given town..etc. it’s wild and there’s no telling how far it’s going to have gone in 20 years when our kids are the ones trying to survive it. I hate it! I now have to tell my kids all the time, guys the world is no longer leaving room for mistakes. You can’t even say something edgy to your best friend in private anymore if you ever want a career because you’ll probably be exposed thereafter. lol if that’s even what you meant, I could be wrong and totally off topic.
How? Not liking someone personality have nothing to do with how good their work is. Andrew have become a ashole as a person lately but his comedy/shows are still top tier
@MrCaptainTea I mean I wouldn't really say he's a true comedian. Sure he has specials and performs at clubs and theaters and shit, but he got big because of crowd work clips. That's literally the shittiest kind of comedian and he's the mf that popularized it mostly. Especially taking his new content into account and he's far from a true comedian he's just like Bert he thinks people click his shit just for him to see him talk and just do nothing special other than be himself which is respectable but he needs to realize fans don't just become forever megafans that follow and support everything they do
@@Adventure3Man”he has specials and performs at clubs and theatres and shit” bro what more do you need to qualify to be considered a stand up comedian? If you don’t think he’s funny that’s fine just say that
Then you have Theo von doing it without any laugh tracks his producer barely engage even joe Rogan told him to get a producer to laugh next to him . And he is not only funny and killing it but the love of the people for him grows every day because people can sense true talent.
The way I feel about those kinds of jokes, whether it be about gender or race or special needs or whatever is that it often comes across as tired. Like it’s low hanging fruit that’s been used to death and it comes across as how you’d joke with friends at age 16. If someone can make those jokes legitimately clever, then ok cool. But it’s important to remember that there’s a whole group of people being mocked for entertainment so.. was it even entertaining? You’re allowed to say it, but people are also allowed to stop watching over it. So better make it good
Shane is so chill and real. He's genuine and not just going to go along with everything. There are so many ankle biters around him. He shuts them down with ease.
@@ekids.bassment same, used to find Shultz funny, can't stand his pod now and the making fun of downsyndrome thing shouldve been obvious, the guy has his family members with it, so it was stupid to poke him about it.
Which is literally the anti-Andrew. Never seen a higher level of unwarranted arrogance. Him having a fan base is one of the great mysteries of the universe. It makes me so happy to see how much he despises Shane’s superior talent and respect.
@@michaelturley3457 "Shane's superior talent." Lmao. Only thing Shane is superior at is kissing ass. Guy went from racist frat boy to "down syndrome jokes are mean" just to please daddy Rogan.
It feels ironic that Shane was fired from SNL because they didn't understand he was making fun of racists not trying to be one, and now again he is actually standing against discrimination.
I felt offended simply because I could laugh at a lot of Schulz's comedy but then I'm like "nah Shane is clearly a master of comedy compared to Schulz" so my offense is simply ego lmaooo
What should really be highlighted was Andrew pushing Zyn on a guest and swearing the guest wouldn't get addicted, despite the guest being aware of his addictive personality, and the disclaimer that they have to give when promoting Zyn, because IT IS addictive. It was harassment and truly awful.
And he’s jealous that Shane is pretty much well loved by everyone. Whereas Shultz HAS to know that there’s loads of people that hate him. Knowing him tho, he probably brushes it off as jealousy, which is delusional.
I'm satisfied being mad at him for feigning epiphanies every time his guests say something totally normal that he thinks is profound. The annoying freshman in Philosophy 101.
Ooooof that cut me to the bone with reality. So so so true. I just had flashes of countless visuals racing through my memory of many many times he’s done exactly that. You put it into perfect words too. 👌
@@hailacrunch4937 When someone in your field of work has a roadmap to success and the resources to help you reach your goals, listen to them. In other words if Joe said jump then it was a good choice for these guys to jump.
It's ok to laugh at a joke about just about anything. However, they were using Shane as a proxy to laugh AT, not WITH the clips of people with Down Syndrome that they brought up, and that's why it was not cool. Shane's jokes about the special needs community don't point fingers at them and instead include them in the joke, and that's why they're funny. Basically, shane has good intentions with his jokes, and these were just mean. That's my opinion, at least.
@@Bushido_Brown. he deleted them because he was canceled for shit he was saying on them. He had to do it if he wanted to still have a comedy career it’s not like he’s changing his personality or views to pander to the left he just recognizes certain jokes can’t be made in todays world
@@Bushido_Brown. I don’t see how Rogan is racist. It’s crazy how people think others cant have views from both sides. Joe himself has said he leans liberal. The only reason people think he’s conservative or whatever is because he’s against all the woke bs. The spectrum has shifted so much that logical centrist views are now viewed as conservative. Even 10-15 years ago Rogan would’ve been considered a hard liberal. Because of the minority of people that are on social media, it appears as if most people are either left or right, when in reality the majority of people in the real world are somewhere in the middle. Some lean right, some lean left. I get what you’re saying bout Rogan flipping according to who his guest is, but it’s not like he does a complete 180. He wants to have a meaningful convo with his guest and if he antagonized everyone, people would just come on to argue. He wants his guests to be comfortable speaking their minds. That’s why it seems like he flip flops.
i dont think shane was trying to say he forgot the podcast more so than just confirming he was still doing it......where as andrew tried to make it like shane was forgetful about it
During the rona he actually did a pretty good job with a current event type comedy series and also released some great crowd work clips. He used to be humble but the money and clout ruined him.
True. It’s such a real running theme and it’s always so mf uncomfortable. And on the other side of the coin with CERTAIN guests, he kowtows like a mfer and defends shit that he should really press on, not as a virtue signaller but as an interviewer. It’s wild.
Andrew Shulz is so high on his own supply here that i have second hand embarrassment watching him. Even in this clip he makes Don Jr. look like a lightweight. All Shulz simps should hide in shame.
Yeah, the more I’ve seen them react. I think him fast forwarding one episode, mysteriously losing the camera on another and basically bullying him telling him how bad he did on the third appearance and then just starting the episode out comparing him to people with Down syndrome on the next one was just Schulz trying to like gaslight the audience into disliking Shane. He wasn’t bad at all on the episode they always insult. He was just not acting like an over caffeinated white kid from the burbs that wants to be black.
You should have played the clip from last week’s LOSkanks pod when Louis dissed BERT and SCHULTZ as hacks, and SHANE was like, “No! Bert and Schultz are COOL!”…even though, you could tell that Shane didn’t believe it…
if george carlin, bill hicks, richard pryor, or patrice o'neal were still alive, none of you would be complaining because they would shut you down in an instant with your own stupidity. just wow. can you people imagine a comedian getting shut down because of old jokes? no way. i dont believe it. not one percent.
Man your commentary so much more composed compared to 2lazy2try with the wanna be Charlie/penguin0 voice tone or that “the podcast cringe “ channel that using goofy photos of Joe Rogan with the red/orange thumbnail and somehow makes almost every other upload some video about shitting on Joe which are good too but sometimes it doing the most for the simple interactions I understand sometimes ppl wanna just hear they’re opinion get validated by someone else shitting in these people but your content seems neutral enough to where it’s not so bias but just logical haha Anyways glad to see you still making content good work man!
He does do that and I’m more often than not appreciative of it, but there comes a time where fence sitting/middle grounding/neutral positions are the MOST harmful. Not in the extreme can’t be edgy ever kind of way, but when there’s clear fucked up shit and a lack of looking into or researching or even just OPENING THINE EYES is blatantly refused, it gets ridiculous. Not in this case really. But sometimes.
Hey man been watching you for a while now man and it’s great how far you’ve come from simply the edit cuts and camera quality and overall you seem super comfortable infront of the camera now keep doing what you’re doing man you’re killing it a lot of love from Australia 🇦🇺 🦘
I randomly found andrew schulz on youtube and he got me into the american comedians. He had amazing crowdwork and felt like he was down to earth, that changed A LOT after some time, now he feels like a know it all and is obnoxious, sad rly
I feel basically the same way. When I first got into the comedian videos, I usually liked what I saw from Schultz. I was happy to see it come up. But he has quickly and steadily become insufferable and I don't know what happened
I dissagree. As one of the dudes who has listened a lot to MSSP, it’s his personality and just having fun that makes him funny. Yes, we like the childish banter but without the context of MSSP and his general childish approach to bro interaction a single clip wouldn’t make us laugh.
I’m glad he’s good under pressure because Schulz really needs a taste of his own medicine. He pretends he’s loving it but you know he hates when Shane spars with him on the show
Nobody was upset bc they thought shane was actually offended. Its bc its blatant to see andrews insecurities with any instance of interacting with shane.
Hey dude, love the content, but something seems off with your mic, you seem muffled especially compared to the other audio from flagrant. Maybe your mic needs to be closer to your mouth or turn up or down the gain? Idk? Anyway, keep up the great work!
10/10 flagrant without guests was the best version. They could flesh so much more out in a natural and funny way but they've instead allowed it to mostly degrade
