Welcome to the first official video of Dave The Trimmer!
This is an introduction to the world of trimming as well as an introduction to me, Dave!
Having been in the automotive trimming business for many years, I thought it would be a cool idea to document a few of the things that come through the door. From bike seats, to full interiors as well as a glimpse into the other companies and businesses we work with.

Fantastic Video! I believe Dave did a roof repair on a 986 Boxster I purchased... It was such a bloody good job, you wouldn't even know he'd done it! That's the mark of a true professional! I've known of you for a long time through the Porsche Community, but I had no idea you had so much personality!... For me you really made this video come alive, It was great to get a sneak 'look behind the scenes' into your workmanship... It really made me wish I lived closer, so I could enquire about working for you or even helping out!.. Because despite not being easy job in the slightest, this skill/craftmanship looks super rewarding and like something I'd truly enjoy. All the best DTT! 👍

That's a fabulous video. I've been a restorer of antique furniture for more than 40 years, all traditional hand work and hand rubbed polishes. Most clients love to be "part of the project" seeing how detailed and skillful the work is and they have a far greater understanding and appreciation of the work process , the time involved and of the finished piece. Your work looks beautiful. Look forward to watching more.

Loved the video. I have had seats made for my old 911; seats recovered for my 930 and have ordered more custom seats for motorcycles than I could shake a stick it. Rarely have they met my expectations. Normally it is the seating position on bike seats, car seats often the quality of the fit. I would like to see a bit more on leather selection and the foam base.

Would like to see complete interior retrim on 911s! I don't think anyone is showing your level quality detailed retrim of new seats, doors, dash, shifter, etc.

Enjoyed that! Nice mix of explanation, and quality videography. It’s always really satisfying watching trimming, one of those things that looks easy but takes years to master - and I’m sure frustratingly fiddly! The sewing machine looks like it’s got lots of settings, could you run through what different things you can do with it? Look forward to the next!

Potentially good video ruined by terrible camera work. The guy is discussing the process but the clueless cameraman keeps showing the guy's face. Unwatchable.
