The David Bowie estate should re-release this song with vids and pics of what America has sadly become. Perhaps we can shame some of our fellow Americans into behaving better.

I was a racist. I was a young stupid kid from the Bronx born in the 70s. I didnt know or have white friends. Growing up I listened to hip hop as it started to blow up. In my teens, 1990s, my father would play his music loud on the weekends. One day I said to him "Why r u listening to white boy music? We black." He laughed at me and said, "Boy, ur still wet behind the ears." And one weekend this song was playing while I was trying to sleep. I couldnt remember much of the song but asked my father what was that song that sounded like this. Again he laughed at me and said, "Wut? U mean my white boy music?" Hahaha I miss him so much but am proud that he opened my eyes and mind too so much through music. I will forever love this song and my father.
When you think about the homeless problem in America right now and drugs and crime in the street, and other major issues right now. This song hits hard when you listen to it in that context

Seen this film when it came out at the time. 1985. Very good movie. I'm sure everyone knows this was based on a true story. I'd wish Tim and Sean would do another film together. They had great chemistry. Loved David bowie song hete as well😊
