None of the clips I search for on RU-vid have my favorite Bowie quote of the entire show. In the All This and Gargantua 2 episode when Dr. Mrs. the Monarch asks Bowie after he starts 'burning down the house' and killing all the members of the council who he REALLY is he turns and simply says, "Just some bloke who wanted to be anybody but himself." To me that one line added a lot to his character, almost making him a character you can sympathize with at the very end.

It's really not crazy at all. It's called capturing the imagination. Falstaff, The Little Tramp, Willy Wonka, aforementioned Spock, Sherlock Holmes, Ziggy all fall in that category. And as far as I know Bowie 'retired' Ziggy, he didn't even 'kill' him onstage.

When I first heard Bowie died, Jackson and Doc were the first thing to pop in my head. I fell the fuck out when i saw this for the first time. LMAO! No Bowie fan matches those two!
