I'll give you a hint, in those 17 years the show only had 7 seasons. It's miraculous they got as much as they did. Adult swim pulls a lot of bullshit, like that metalocalypse fiasco, but this production schedule just wasn't feasible. You can't keep a channel running with good reviews. You need profit.
