Thanks for reacting to my favorite singer. He is from Texas, but was classically trained. He is primarily a gospel singer, but sings all genres very well. He is a fabulous arranger and composer as well. He has a unique sound, a blend of classical and pop, which can throw people off a bit. Anything you react to from him will be of the highest quality. He is the most emotionally connected singer I have heard. Very gifted.

My favorite singer of all time .. check out his O Holy Night, No More Night, Just as I am.. many more. .. No accent .. first language is English. He is classically trained.

David Phelps is an American gospel singer and one of the greatest Tenors on the planet. If you'd like to see him do something contemporary I suggest watching his video of Whitney Houston's I have nothing you'll be really amazed

You need to check out his "Oh Holy Night" video from a Bill Gaither Gospel Christmas video. The video he is wearing a green sweater. It has been rated as one of the Top Five performances of that song...in the world. Rated up there with Celine Dion's version. The fact it is a LIVE version makes it all the more awe inspiring.

None can compare to the total package that is David Phelps. He sings a variety of styles, but they are all INSPIRED and INCREDIBLE. One of the greatest male vocalists of all time. Check out some more of his performances... No More Night, O Holy Night, We Shall Behold Him, The Dream, I Have Nothing, Let Freedom Ring with the Gaither Vocal Band... so many great songs... enjoy the ride!

David Phelps is from Texas but currently lives in Tennessee. He sings mostly gospel, but has done other songs, such as Whitney Houston's I Have Nothing and Elvis's Can't Help Falling In Love. David is singing Ava Maria in Latin.

David Phelps describes himself as a music stylist. He is excellent at arranging songs with a different flair than what we may be used to. He also is a phenomenal writer. Just a note, that is his sister, Kari Phelps-Lee playing the trumpet. Thank you for reacting to David!

David Phelps is American...born in Texas. It's possible he may know Spanish as a 2nd language because that language is spoken often in Texas...but English is definitely his firsst language.
