I just recently purchased the Reed Geek Universal Tool and I have to say that I'm blown away by this tool. So much easier and more controllable than a reed knife. I love it so much that I bought another one to keep in my other sax case. So far, It's brought back to life about 80% of the reeds that were not usable. Do yourself a favor and buy this tool. It will pay for itself with the first 2-3 boxes of reeds you buy.
