Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo - the "Adi Mantra", I bow to the Creative Wisdom, I bow to the Divine Teacher within

​Har - (not used in the practice but in the song) this bij (seed) mantra represents the Infinite in its creative form, it is used in a very powerful prosperity meditation. It is also a mantra that develops willpower.

Sat Nam - truth is my identity. This mantra reinforces the divine consciousness in everyone. It is used as a greeting as well as the mantra for Kundalini Yoga exercises, inhaling Sat (truth), exhaling Nam (name, identity).

@@MariaMetallica Hi Maria, of course you can. You may want to do the weight loss practices in the morning as they are more physical. Then you can do meditative practices in the evening. 🙏

I've done a few of these, I like the the yoga, however it's sometimes hard to hear the instructions due to the volume level of the music.

I had an incredible experience with this practice! I've had lower back pain off and on for the past year or so. Over the past couple of weeks, it became uncomfortable to the point I was considering going to a masseuse or chiropractor. About three seconds in to the cobra pose and breath of fire, I could feel the pain loosening up and dissolve. It was completely gone after finishing the cobra. I'm extremely grateful and in awe of what happened... to live with pain as if it's normal and suddenly it's gone.... wow. Thank you!

This was one of my first introductions to yoga 5 years ago following a traumatic experience of sexual assault that almost destroyed me. Thank you so much Mariya, words will never describe how you introducing me to Kundalini Yoga transformed my life and set me on my healing path. It allowed me to reconnect with my body & self at a time when it felt alien to me, like it had been stolen. Since then yoga has become a daily part of my life and I truly believe I wouldn't be here without it. Out of nowhere today I remembered this challenge after so many years of having forgotten, and I decided to revisit. I feel so energised, alive & grateful. I was crying so many tears in the middle of this in remembrance of the young 21yo I used to be who was so lost & broken when she found this practice. The strength and resilience I have now is something I could never have dreamed of. Thank you from the depths of my heart & soul. I look forward to embarking on this journey with you again. To anyone reading this who has been through any type of trauma, please don't give up on yourself. Some days the only thing I could do was show up on the mat, and even that is enough. I love music during Yoga. It is distracting only an easily distracted mind. It feels lovely. And I don't think she should be ashamed of posting this, as it is a very good practice, which does not feel only for a purpose such as weight loss. I believe that this purpose is only a way to invite people to practice it, at first they will may think for weight loss, and after a while will understand the power of Yoga and Kundalini. And even if I am wrong, if it does not please you, you can just (if really it is important for you and for others) tell it gently, kindly, with love. Anyway, what is the mantra starting at 2:06 ? OK! I just finished this Day 1 challenge without any idea what to expect from this kind of yoga. This was a nice practice. it showed me how tight my legs and spine are that's for sure!! Thank you!

I am late to the challenge but I am in all the way. I had a psychic reading this past weekend and was advised to keep myself open to my angels - within hours a friend introduced me to your channel and this challenge, Mariya. My Kundalini practice has been stagnant because "I don't have time" - I did this practice to start the challenge and love everything about it and you. Thank you for being one of my angels. ♥ Sat nam

Just finished day thirty six, a few more days to go. I am doing a few other workout challenges at the same time but this one is beyond amazing. Love the music, love Mariya's loving guidance/instruction. Yes, the sound quality could be improved but as a beginner and never having done kundalini yoga before, I am blown away. I can't recmmend this enough, this workout is truly bliss inducing. Looking forward to becoming a member and taking some of the longer classes. Thank you so much for sharing this practice.

newbie to the yogi lifestyle here and was told to try kundalini but to beware of certain "instructors". Mariya is FANTASTIC!!! I am definitely sticking to this 40 day challenge! Just finished Day 1 and excited for the rest of my journey!!! :D

Wow! I have arthritis in both of my knees and it is very painful and difficult to bend my knees. I did most of this routine sitting with my legs straight out. However, when returning to a sitting position from Cobra my legs moved naturally into a cross legged position - the first time I've been able to sit cross legged in 4 years!!! This is especially amazing as the routine didn't 'work' on knee flexibility!!

Today was the first day of my Divine journey ... I found that my body was not quite as fit as I thought, but my Spirit was extremely higher after the session ... The only judge was myself, and I know as the days go on my judgement will peel away so as to enable me to absorb the benefits of this wonderful system. DantheHP I feel your harsh words were uncalled for. One should be more ashamed of judging another, especially when Mariya is sharing her wisdom and love for all levels of us humans. Those who have been enticed to join this journey for Weight Loss will soon experience that the magical benefits are so much more. Who really cares what your reasons are for joining these sessions, at least Mariya has opened the door inviting all to participate in a journey of enlightenment.

This was unlike anything I've ever experienced before. I couldn't believe how much heat and energy was generated throughout my body during the practice. I just completed this video and I still feel the heat moving around in my body. I am looking forward to continuing with the videos. Your presence is so calming and relaxing.

I have a question. when you say shift in energy, do you mean increased or could it go another way? I'm so tired and I cant afford to lose what little I have. I did this first day and was reading comments. I intend to complete it because gained 30 pounds and I need to lose it . plus I'm very tall and my spine suffers. this seems like it will help align it and strengthen it and the muscles around it . anyway thanks.. don't be worried about the fact I'm a Christian. ive done my research on this type of spirituality I'm convinced its not a contradiction n. just wanted to let you know I'm not trolling or evangelizing . I'm shunned from a lot of these channels so I started giving a disclaimer . anyway thanks I enjoyed todays . ill be back tomorrow

Started my 40 Kundalini Challenge today. I love Kundalini Yoga. I feel great and this challenge is a great compliment to my current regimen and will help me through this 49 day long Venus retrograde which starts today. Interesting coincidence 🤔. Hi Nataliya, great to hear that you enjoyed day 1. Since you're new to Kundalini Yoga , you might find some of the things challenging or uncomfortable. Just do your best- don't push yourself and feel free to take breaks whenever you need. If you feel dizzy, it's ok to pause and rest for a while until you feel ready to get back to it. Also, make sure you drink plenty of water since we're working on detoxing the body. Blessings, Mariya

@@Kundalinilounge Worry not, I do make modifications. My cobra is not as perfect as yours. But it's still progress for someone with a damaged spine. Do you have a class for people with lower back problems? I mean spine problems, protruding discs and arthritis.

Hey. I love kundalini yoga and this was recommended to me. But I can't stand overpowering music especially when it goes on and off`. Is there a version without music ?

Hi Alain, sorry about the music going loud sometimes. We clearly got carried away with the music :) This program was filmed years ago and unfortunately there is no version without the music. There are other videos and programs on the channel and we've been using the music quite low so you won't find it disturbing. Blessings, Mariya

I'm gonna stick with this for 40 days. I love kundalini yoga, and I hope I can keep committed to a 40 day routine. Just finished this one. My difficulty lies in exercises that require flexibility. I cannot touch my toes at all, or keep my legs straight.

Just did this one again! After first few moves I said oh I should do the kriya to elevate higher again. It was first and only kriya Ive done for 40 days straight (a longer version). :) then I realized thats what I was doing! haha. great to revisit & I thoroughly enjoyed & benefited immensely from the 40 day practice. Sat nam!

At first I thought the music was drowning and the instructions were hard to understand but just persevering and being with the practice allowed me to feel a strong sensation throughout my spine and an energizing of the body. Thanks so much Mariya and I will definitely subscribe.

This 20 min. routine kicked my butt this morning, glad I found this needed something that focused on the Lymphatic System, almost didn't do because its titled weigh loss, but listened to your first video and I'm glad I did! #LearningHowToBlossom

I had a crick in the side of my neck and literally felt it "unlock" while doing this and although the stiffness wasn't completely gone it was more than halfway gone by the end of the video.

Im the spouse of the person whose account this is, and I have done kundalini in the past. I admit I have trouble sticking to things and have yet to make it through all 40 days!😅 Most of these I’ve done are fantastic, and I have seen some weight loss even without getting to day 12! Im getting pretty good at the early days because then I stop and come back all over again. I do have an issue with some parts of these videos, which is that very rarely are alternate options given. Those of us who have practiced yoga before can generally find some kind of alternative, for example first thing in the morning I just can’t do cobra. I rest on my forearms instead and that works. For sone of us also who are larger, because this is a weight-loss program, some of these are just impossible or potentially dangerous to do. Like shoulder stand. I put a meditation cushion under my hips and put my legs jn the air so I get the benefits of inverting. But there is little in that particular day where she cautions about taking care of your neck (I had a yoga teacher once who taught us how to do this as safely as possible). People get injured too often when following youtube videos, so I would have liked some more care in terms of safety and also other options for bigger people. Stomachs can get in the way of things sometimes! All that said, I have been doing this on and off for the last 5 years and I wouldn’t keep coming back if I didn’t get some benefit from this. And I do get a lot! So overall this is a great program, just remember not to push yourself past your limit. ❤

Doing the series in the morning. first day already felt some changes in my spine. At first it was really stiff, then it gradually loosened up. I'm looking forward to the changes in appetite, digestion etc. , really curious

Hi Mariya, if i am unable to do the poses on first day properly, should i still go for the new ones on the second day and continue the 40 day routine, or should i work on improving on my each days postures. Also, during periods i am totally not functional, due to severe cramps, in that case i will not be able to maintain the 40 day schedule, should i leave it for those days and continue from where i left off after 4/5 days?Will that work? Thanks
