Our second day on the Chemin du Puy from Saint-Privat d' Allier to Saugues. We hitchhiked to Monistrol-d'Allier then walked to Saugues for a total of 8.5 miles (13.68km). We stayed at Gite et chambre d'hôtel La Dentelle du Camino tonight.

The most important question to ask for sure! We both wear trail runners by Altra. I wear Olympus 4 and my sister wears Lone Peak. We both also bring a second pair of Teva Universal trail sandals for when we get to the town and also they can be used if we have problems with our shoes. We both love our shoes!!
