first few years will be experimental .. as we learn from mistakes :) Garden looks good ..just needs warm weather .. hopefully in few days it will change and we will have warmer nights

Hello Lorraine .. we tasted better wine that that :) .. it's drinkable but nothing exiting :) but this was our first wine here and we will do differently next time to make better one. My back was hurting Lorraine ... I was taking brakes each 20 min it was a lot but had to be done ;) xxx

I never expected all tomatoes to come up (as they never did last year) so I planted more that few ... ;) and then they did came up It was a shame to waste them .. so I kept them all .. and this year I want to make much more sundried tomatoes .. marinate them as well and then just eat ... can't wait ... Also I never heard about yeast but I started to was few gardeners (local and not local to PT) and one lady showed that recipe .. so I though I give this a go ... I hope it will be good .. well we will see ... but so far so good they still green and and still alive xxx

:) Sometime they go yellow because of to much rain or cold ... and I kept them outside in small pots for few weeks now .. lets see how they behave after few weeks :)

Hello Jo :) To be honest it is cold here this year as well we had nice warm nights just two weeks I think .. and then it gone down the hill as they say .. few nights was only 2 ... my poor plants .. but I think in few week's it suppose to be warmer !!! Hello how are you? hope you good !!! I did seen someone using milk for they veg .. I thought how strange .. but if you say it's worked then it must be true :) It's cold here as well ... today was only 16 .. I think we will have few week's like that ... so different from the HEAT last year at the same time ;) Take care and speak soon G XXX

when we been to Norway alcohol was so expensive .... You just come to Portugal for holiday ;) You can get nice wine in a shop just for 3 euros a bottle !!! So to be honest sometimes to make your own is not really worth it ... as you need to buy so many equipment and to have somewhere to store that wine .. ;)

Hello Sweden :) OMG our sun dry tomatoes with our own olive oil will be amazing I think !!!! Tunnels is a great idea ... In a second one I will use for cherry tomatoes as they like to grow high :) Oh and it's been raining for two days now .... (again) so no watering needed !!!! but I seen good weather coming up soon !! yey !!! Thank you for watching !!!

cucumbers loves warm water :) the warm I meant like 20 degrees ... but for yeast to react I made warmer :) But since I was child I remember that mum used to use warm water to water her cucumbers .. they seem to like it

we put all wine on the grass as it wasn't tasting good as we wanted ... it was going off .. so we done 55 litters in total and it's just because we thought to try later Tomatoes !!! keep it coming .. I will do sauce, I will marinate them .. I will sundry them and maybe sell them and eat them ... so definitely won't be a problem ... I AM READY !!!! :) I got my 100 jars ready which I collected all year .. cha cha last year was just a learning year this year heat is on ;) xxx Thank you for watching us !!!

You funny !!!! :) a leader of commercial production of vegetables !!!! (well we do grow so many of them and a lot ... cha cha .. it's just happen' s like that ... by accident ) so I grew some cucumbers from seeds last year .. hmmm it wasn't successful because: our garden gets very cold during the night like yesterday was 2 degrees ... for cucumbers you need warm weather to grow .. I planted them I think end of may .. and by the time they became bigger it was VERY hot (like 40) during the day .. I noticed cucumbers can't stand heat here ... so that's why I planted them now in a polytunnel so I want to get as much of them as I can before the BIG heat arrives ... as I don't think they will survive summer ... Some tomato seed's came up as well last year from the soil .. it wasn't good as well as they came up later and it wasn't successful. But this year weather is so different .. it's cold its raining .. last year we had dry april and 30 degrees ... this year it's wet and we had 30 maybe 10 days .. Who knows what it will be next year !!! ;) SO by the time you ready to move here I will be done all experiments and you will know all the secrets ;) By the way where are you from and what is Your name? would be lovely to know as this is not first time when you and me talking about gardening I think :) Take care G xxx

Я механик и мастер на все руки , у нас небольшой загородный дом и 2000м земли. Про переезд в Португалию - это не шутка , т.к. моя супруга этническая украинка и её старший сын в Киеве . I think I will water them more and during the day when it is hot so it could be humid in the tunnel .. they do live humidity !!! I didn't use chicken manure on tomatoes .. I used them on my roses cha cha ..I used sheep manure :) Best wishes !!! G xxx
