Patricia and i always bought heinz tomatoe sauce and heinz salad cream heinz tins of soup we used to buy heinz beans but i dont like how the sauce in them changed so now i buy supermarket brands.
My parents (in the UK) have two cherry trees in their front garden. There's an entrance into the local university at the end of their road. It has been known for Japanese students to come and take photos when they're in bloom. I can only guess that it reminds them of home.
Right now the blossoms are literally all over the place where I live. You can go in any direction and find them. There are a few large ones in back and in front of my house
So good to see Mark again! That airbnb is amazing, I love how traditional it is. Also, grilled corn is S-tier food, it all looked so delicious~ good job Mark! lol
The part where you rejected the Japanese ketchup in favour of Heinz made me smile because my partners Japanese grandmother would only get "Heinz Hifty Seben" and regarded all other ketchup as trash 😂
@@sharlainjapan it is! It was very cool to see it again:) i dont know if they still do it but back then they used to hang lanterns made by kids from my school and some other local schools so it was very pretty at night too:)
Strangely, what you eat looks delicious☺️🍴 I'm Japanese, but I felt the goodness of Japan again when I saw a wonderful indoor tour and delicious food😭🗾
Sharla & Mark, do glad you guys spent time together! I was just thinking about Mark yesterday that I haven't seen him in a while. Thank you for sharing the beautiful Sakura! Enjoyed the video!😻
That airbnb accommodation is on another level, so nice! Also been thinking of getting sakuraco for a while so was nice to kind of see what it has inside
Highly recommend it. Just got my box for April. So many snacks to try. Looking forward to the May box. Sharla love your videos. And the different places that you have shown us. Such a beautiful country
I thought exactly the same lol. Oh this is how a terror Japanese movie actually starts. A couple of friends find an old cassette tape called sad woman, they decide to play it and break open a curse in which people will keep finding the cassette and dying by the ghost of the sad woman in it. We deserve a movie now
Oh man I’ve missed Mark and his floppy hair 😄 he’s so funny and his hatred of walking always cracks me up 😂 Did Bob the Ghost make an appearance while you were at the Air BNB 👻 😆?
I live with a Japanese lady for a month during sakura season and the Saho river was one my favorite walk! Thank you for the really nice video it has brought back so many good memories!
I love how Sharla was eating that snack and there was only one 😂 Mark was such a gentleman and so polite! Holding the grocery basket, carrying the bags, holding the door open for her. All men should take a note from Mark! 😊
@@KitchenWitchery Exactly. Mark is a cool dude, does anyone hold the door open for him or carry his groceries? Is anyone being a gentlewoman and doing nice things for Mark? :D
What a beautiful property. That’s like the property from the wolverine lmao. I love places that just flow seamlessly from inside to outside and back inside again. Perfect for entertaining people.
Marvelous spot to see the cherry blossoms/sakuras, Miss Sharla, as well as renting an Airbnb in a Japanese temple, which helps you feel smoothed in a peaceful environment.🌸
Love seeing you & Mark together again…doing a video & travelling to different spots. 👍👏😊 The Sakura are so beautiful! 🌸 Thank you for sharing this video with us. 👍🇨🇦😊
I went to the Japanese Tea Garden in Portland Oregon and the cherry blossoms were very beautiful. I bet seeing the cherry blossoms in Japan is even more so!
I’m just getting over having COVID and I felt so down this morning. Then I saw your video and it cheered me up. ☺️ Mark is such a sweetheart. I’m glad you were able to spend some time together.
I was surprised that the Sakura didn’t have a fragrance, my grammy here in Australia had a cherry blossom tree out the front of her house and it always smelled very nice 🌸
Hey! I recommend Hanamiyama (Fukushima city), Kajo koen (Yamagata), and Tsutsujigaoka koen (Sendai)! But be quick, all these last a week max! I went to Hanamiyama yesterday, remarkable!
You and Mark always seem to have such a good time together, glad you were able to see each other again. This looked like a lot of fun!! I also looooved the sakura trees!! - From a fellow Canadian that can only dream of visiting Japan once tourists are permitted again ♡♡♡
I grew up with a sakura tree smack in the middle of my back yard. It has been there and alive since the house was built in 1976, under the shade of very large hundred plus year old oak trees, so it never grew very large, but darn it all if that sucker doesn't have the will to live! About a decade ago basically the whole main tree died, but a new branch sprouted from low on the trunk of the tree. It even still flowers every year. We plan to take a cutting or two this year after the blossoms fall and use some rooting hormone to try to get a cutting rooted to start a new tree. The sakura and the pink dogwood were my absolute favorites growing up and I'm glad I still get to see them every spring.
@@B_is_for_butter I know right, It would be so funny, Chris is a gem at comical reactions to anything strange and I feel I get a somewhat, slightly sadistic, pleasure watching youtubers in his group pick on him a little, as he is delightfully sarcastic. I seriously understand Sharla's reluctance to touch it though, I have seen some of those Japanese Scary Movies, they are wonderfully Macabre.
I love this! I was just thinking that each You Tuber I watch has done a video on the sakura trees, but each one is so different and reflects the personality of its creator. Norm was on a boat, Shinichi (TabiEats) was in a very crowded area full of shops and places to eat, yours is very relaxed with a beautiful old building to stay in and no crowds. I would definitely choose your version if I were in Japan. So so beautiful.
What a cool airbnb!!!! :) It looks beautiful! Those sakura along the river were absolutely gorgeous. Thanks for sharing!!! I can't wait to see the deer park.
Thanks for sharing fun video. The season of cherry blossoms is over now in Tokyo and we hope we can welcome many those love the beautiful flowers around world next year. Cheers 🌸
One thing I loved about South Korea was that I had a Pizza Hut next to my bus stop, so when I came home from work I'd get carryout and it was always so cheap! Takeout was also discounted. That house looks great and those sakura look amazing.
I really wish these two were more then friends there so cute as friends and they just care for each other so much I know there just friends but I wish ya know lol💖
Hi Sharla! I started watching your videos around 6 years ago, when I was planning a trip to Japan, and seen them all since. Just wanted to let you know that whenever I see a new video from you pop up it brightens my day! Thank you for all your hard work! ❤
Girlfriend and I were gifted a Sakuraco subscription. It really is a very nice subscription box. All of the snacks and teas have been tasty, quality stuff. It's less Poky and Hichew and more subtlety flavored plum, matcha, peach, strawberry snacks. The included utensils and drink ware were a nice surprise.
I always love seeing your videos. And I enjoy seeing you and Mark together in a video. You two besties are really great people. What a neat place! Your barb-b-que took me back to the days when I lived at the New Jersey shore after college and worked on the boardwalk. I rode my bike everywhere and shopped at the local farmer's market. I had a ton of bar-b-ques in the backyard. New Jersey produce and fruit is delicious. And loved so much to grill corn on the cob. I'm a vegan and your meal look soooo good! The cherry blossoms looked like heaven on earth. Thank you for showing them. They are my favorite flower. Have a wonderful day! :D
Sharla you have the best adventures! Great to see Mark again. I love your friendship and energy together. Love the music as you went to see Sakura Blossoms. So nice. I loved that house...How'd you find it !!! Dome of the views got me... Love the scenes !!! It's like a dream. My kind of heaven !!!! Love you guys🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸
The temple AirBnB is super cool! If you think that sakura spot is good, you really need to visit Yoshino! It's further south in Nara Prefecture, about a 2hr train ride from Nara city but it's 100% worth it. The entire mountain is covered in sakura. It's absolutely stunning.
