Day in the life of a plumber
In todays video I go back to the water leak job from last episode and finally get that job all sorted. I then connect my flow and return heating pipes up in the roof for a new radiator I first fixed.
As always, thanks for watching, all the support is greatly appreciated

I wouldn't let it get to you mate. Easier said than done I know but at the end of the day you was right in the end one of the best plumbers/gas engineers I have seen on any social media. I'm an apprentice even I could tell that 22 was enough. Probably never even touched a pipe slice in his life 🤣

@@PlumbLikeTom Fair enough that it was on the limit. From the look on the video it didn't seem that long of a run what size boiler was it mate. Just curious. I have seen boilers with longer runs in smaller pipe before that's what made me think that it would have been well within the limit to be honest.

As usual Tom , a very enjoyable video to watch . It’s good how you mix it up with you install and bathroom work As for the inspector, I fail to see how he can look at your work and talk to you , then he considers a suspension .he must be one of the few low calibre inspectors around. Our local guy is sound as a pound I would try and put it behind you because nothing good will come out of it in the long run .

A brilliant video Tom - personally I really enjoy your conversational style. I must admit to feeling itchy while watching you amongst all that insulation, but that may be because I’d just been in an attic myself! I understand your annoyance at the gas safe person - it would have been extremely annoying as well as embarrassing in front of a customer; he should really write to the customer and explain that you were correct!

You are doing your best Tom and posting it , you wouldn't post videos if you were doing a sh1te job , your jobs would be ripped to pieces by keyboard warriors. Sorry you had a bad inspector Tom. Seems to be a lot of people in this game who have an ego and have to prove they're right all the time. Usually they aint right and end up making themselves look a fool in the long run. You're one of the most knowledgeable plumbers on social media don't let it get you down. What sizes were the 2 fittings you used on the underground pipe?
@PlumbLikeTom
@PlumbLikeTom Месяц назад
Thanks for the support as always Tom, I can't remember exactly the fittings I used, I think the old pipe was 47mm in the ground and the transition coupler I used went from 47 to 51, I then went back to 50 and then down to 25, it was a bit of a strange one

Where’s Jacob when you need him. He could have done the soldering for you. 😂😂. Like you say any experienced gas engineer could see it wasn’t the pipe distance at fault. The only thing different from when you installed it was a new meter and regulator had been fitted so had to be that or water in the service.
