At the very beginning of my real estate investing career, I was doing everything myself (not construction). I was still a full time couch flipper. While I was driving around town, I was listening to the Bigger Pockets podcast to learn as much about real estate investing as I could.
I also joined every real estate wholesaling, house flipping, and real estate group in my city. I posted everything I did on FaceBook to start to add to my resume. I would network a lot with everyone in the real estate industry.
After doing all of that, if I was lucky, I had a deal to go check on. Now, my job is a lot different. I don't have to be the project manager, the closer, the listing agent, etc anymore. I have now hired people to do each of those tasks, meanwhile, I do other things that further add to my business, such as creating content!
