Im currently pregnant im 36 weeks and 5 days and eating a cookie dough blizzard and i can feel baby girl moving around. She really likes ice cream apparently. First time mom/parent too! I used to eat lemon Italian ices religiously every night when I was pregnant from like 2nd trimester on, and kiddo would go crazy 🤪 the cold and sugar combo wakes them up for sure!
i have literally watched shane since i was 6 years old and im now 15, it honestly is just so crazy to think of how much he has grown. im soo sooo happy to still be here watching you on this big new exciting adventure in fatherhood. i loveee you guys soo much!!!

I get SO excited when I see you post! Keep up the great work your killing it. Oh and don't go by what your "suppose to do" just go with the flow. If they want to eat more give it to them.. if they are still sleeping let them sleep I promise they will wake you up and let you know when they are hungrg!! No baby is the same.. My brother just had a baby.. well he just turned 6 months. I watch him everyday 12hrs a day and he learned very fast to not wake them up and to go off their ques. Love you guys

I love to see you guys sticking to a routine and schedule as much as possible with the sleep and food and wake windows because that's the one thing I wish I did with my newborn, I didn't start a routine until 10 months and it was a game changer . I would give any new mom that tip, start a routine right away, you'll be thankful for it !
It is soooo lovely to see you all at home and just relishing in spending time with your new babies :) It’s been so healing to see all this for me, as I spent the first 6 months in hospital with my baby due to multiple open heart surgeries ❤
Man I have a 4 week old and we do not have a schedule like that lol. She wakes up when she wakes up and then we feed her and do diaper and try to play and then she sleeps again for 2-3 hours and repeat. Our doctor did say she could start doing one 5 hour stretch at night which will be nice. But I really don’t think it needs to be that regimented, especially when they’re this young. Some days they’re more hungry or more sleepy if they’re going through a growth spurt. Dont be so hard on yourself!
Okay but as a Mom I LOVE that the mommy content haha! I've been watching Shane forever and then the vlogs when they started and I love how your entering the mommy world. LOVE LOVE that schedule it's 100% my first recommendation because the schedule saves so many meltdowns in the future.
I know this is Ryan’s Vlog, but this comment is for Shane. I’ve been watching Shane for a very, very very long time. I know how much he wanted to be a father so seeing him finally being able to be a dad just makes my heart so happy to see how happy he is with his two boys.

My baby drank every 2 hours sometimes less don't know how or why the have a schedule for newborns they are babies😔. TODDLER'S i would get but newborns that's not okay.
So I have 3 boys. I never knew how many parents out there feed their babies according to a schedule. I always fed them whenever they were hungry. I never went according to a schedule like “oh no baby woke up 20 minutes before feeding time, we have to wait.” Not me. Baby woke up crying and hungry? Yup I will pop that Boobie or bottle in. My boys all came out fine. No obesity or weight problems. If that’s the reason why people are worried about feeding them “whenever” I get they wanna keep the baby on a schedule too but what’s 20mins. Am I missing something? Genuinely curious

I had my babies 3 years apart, (Both born on the same week 😅) and I LOVE IT! I was able to have a great 3 years focused on my son. When I had my daughter my son started preschool. That allowed me time to focus just on my daughter and when my son came home have great one on one time with him during her nap time then have great family time all together. I’m all about giving each child individual time and attention and this age gap was perfect for them to be close in age yet still get individual time! ❤️

Okay I will say newborns should not have a feeding schedule. They should eat when they are hungry because it’s better for their development. With twins it’s probably harder to do that. But if you just had one baby, you feed them when they are hungry.
I honestly never stepped on a pacifier,we had only 4 because they are so expensive😅 but they we're never on the ground always on a Clip that attaches to my child PJ' or clothes and always washed after using so no i honestly never had that problem but i also don't have twins . Btw walking you're baby in a stroller everyday is so good for them and you❤❤ oxygen is always good 😊❤

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned but you shouldn't put their seatbelt over the blanket. You strap them in and then put the blanket over top. Just an FYI :) Thank you for giving us a day in the life vlog. You guys are doing awesome with the babies! They are very loved.
Y’all are doing amazing!! There is no rule book and y’all are sharing it with us with TWO babies! This video took me back to when my son was that little. He is a strong young man now! Get the baby Einstein videos for their age. They are amazing and they’re calming for the adults too. Not to over stimulating for anyone. I know how it is to be having a newborn I can’t imagine two. To be overstimulated is an understatement lol. The Baby Einstein helps with that for baby and parent and it grows with them over the first year then there is Little Einstein once they hit toddler. My son absolutely adored them from birth through toddler. He would turn them on when he was older just to listen to the music sometimes. They are also very educational. I only suggest them because they saved my sanity quite a few times lol.

I was thinking exactly the same thing. I would never have been able to when my boy was this age and I only had the one baby. Saying that, I still don’t think I’d be able to now and he’s 15! 😂
Okay poking fun at women talking about joyful movement and needing to move around is messed up. Those women actually pushed out their babies and are dealing with real body changes. That was insensitive af. Not to mention postpartum depression is a very real and common thing… totally tone deaf.
As a new mom myself, I felt when Shane said “I could sleep for 2 years, but guess what? We can’t!” 😂 Man I miss a good long sleep but the love for your babies keeps you going

@nephrotoxick8 I don't know why more people don't adopt. There's a need for good people to love and adopt kid who need homes but unfortunately it seems like alot of shallow abusive types are attracted to adoption.🤷
Adoption is also quite expensive but that's the route we are trying to take now. We own our house but live on fixed incomes is enough to provide a loving home and that Is all I want. I don't need them to be my blood. Just want to nurture and love a child the needs it
Gotta point out guys, female mummies are recovering from giving birth for months after the birth, so them talking about moving their bodies, you gotta understand that when carrying your baby in your body it’s a massive trip. Making a baby with your body, then birthing it takes its toll on your body. Takes quite some months for a lady to get her body back. You have painful engorged breasts re milk etc. And you bleed for weeks after the birth. It’s a lot.
