No daycare for me, but my grandma from my Dad's side used to watch me when my parents were at work. She was NOT the Fun Grandma. She was the Grandma who had the personality of Mr.Grumpy from the Mr.Men series, who didn't bother to help me with homework and expected me to just "Figure it out", (It was algebra or something, had a hard time understanding it!) and her only "Fun outing" trips to take me out on were trips to the firehall for Bingo. Other than that, she just sat on her chair, watch tv and only made remarks at me about sitting down and watching tv. At least she allowed me to use the bathroom!

I remember my babysitter trying to get me to take a bath. I was like, "SAYONARA MOTHA***KA!!!!!!!!" and ran to the trampoline, knowing fully well that she was afraid of them. But stupid me forgot to zip up the door to it because I ended up YEETING myself out of the door, and landed on the ground, giving myself a black eye.

not daycare but I remember this time in preschool once. we were at this teacher meet thing I don’t remember what it was but I was standing there, holding my mom’s phone. I was pretending that the phone was ringing and as my 3yo self, I said out loud, *"f*cking phone keeps ringing."* my parents were literally standing right next to me and I didn’t get in trouble because I was so young and didn’t know better.

I remember going to a daycare when i a kid. (I don't remember exactly how old i was.) The gym my mom went had a daycare. I don't really remember a lot from the daycare, but i remember crying because i missed my mom. I think they just put a movie on for me.

I went to daycare and always threw a fit going because I was super attached to my mom, I then proceeded to wait the entire day for my mom to come back on a chair in front of the daycare door after I drew a few pictures for my mom and having snacks because snacks are very important! I also remember due to some miscommunication between my mom and I one morning waiting for my mom to pick me up instead of going on the white van with the other kids, well my mom freaked out after hours of me not showing up she reported me missing to the staff and it took 30+ minutes for them to realize that I was in the back of the school in the pick up area.

The only story I have from that age is that I apparently got inside someone’s house and no one noticed after they found me. This was after moving to a new location and my family was distracted from moving furniture. I guess the door to the new neighbor’s house was unlocked and I just really wanted something to eat. So the neighbor just found some random 3 year old going through their fridge.

Aychristene you'll love this day-care story i just happened to known *throat clear* long time ago during my pre k days i was at this day-care called family tree my sister was also there it was during play time i somehow got on the playground equipment and got on top and jumped and broke my hip luckily the hospital was down the street i was in the er in 5 seconds flat but i was ok but my mom and 2 aunties was mad

WE NEED THIS IN OUR LIVES

oh yeah there was literally a hospital right across from that daycare center so if anybody ever got hurt or sick they could've been rushed right over to it btw i was also born at that exact hospital in 1993 and now unfortunately that hospital is shutdown and supposedly haunted and it was replaced by an entirely new hospital that is literally further away from that daycare center fun fact that hospital was also on an episode of ghost hunters 4 or 5 years ago

When I was but a wee lad, my brother (4yrs. younger) was a climber... and a jumper. He would find tall places to climb. Trees, cars, high walls and coax me to catch him on the way down. I was terrified and pleaded with him not too because i was not confident in my upper body strength, and knew we would both get hurt in the process. I was a very cautious, worry wart of a little kid, who always obbeyed adults and followed the rules. (And loved to read goosebumps) He did not care, nor did he listen, so I stretched my arms out like a net as he took the leap of faith, with all the hope and intention of saving this poor child. Just before he reached me, i would pull away out of fear and let him see the consequences of his actions. This happened about 3 times before he realized i was never going to catch him. He still liked climbing though, and i did too. 🤭😆 But what really makes me laugh is that i would catch him now, no hestitations. I have great upper body strength. 🤣😂 Sorry bro. ✌

I was never a rascally little devil. I was a good kid who did whatever my teachers told me to do. Example: Back in kindergarten, before I knew how to read, I would mostly play by myself because I was an antisocial little autistic bugger who wanted to do my own thing, and also the thought of talking to the other kids made me nervous beyond all reason. But once I did learn how to read, that was it. That was all I wanted to do. Just sit in the reading corner and read every single book that was there. But my teachers would always gently encourage me to do something else and, while there was a part of me that wanted to rebel and say "no," I would do something else for awhile but eventually I would go back to the reading corner, because it meant I wouldn't be forced to try and talk to anyone since talking to someone while they're reading is something I consider to be very rude.

I'm pretty sure I was quite the silver tongued little devil as a little kid, quick to lie my way out of any situation....or I'd liked to think so, but my dad said that I tend to wear my heart on my sleeves, in the sense that it was hard to tell if I was lying if I was lying for good reasons, like preventing my friends from getting in trouble... I was an honest kid, sometimes painfully blunt. I got in trouble a lot at schools because I couldn't keep my emotions in check.

I try hard to remember a random story of me in kindergarten (I wasn't a daycare kid) but I can't remember any, I was that quiet kid who only spoke if spoken to and that could've died in silence without anyone noticing I even remember once there was a dance presentation and we needed some special shoes, but since we could buy them my dad fixed some old shoes to made them similar to what wes needed, I don't know why my dad though he was a shoemaker because on the day of the presentation a nail starter to hurt my right foot so I was doing all wrong, when it ended I took out my shoes and said it hurt, and my parents then noticed there was an issue And that's the story on why I hate wearing shoes :D

My niece is in nursery (british ver of daycare) she's 3 turning 4 and the other day she started a full out war with another kid at her side just bullying the heck out of the other kids, obviously we punished her greatly but we still have no idea why she even started it
