Hi guys special video here today on the Redwolf in this one we convert it from a bottle rifle to a cylinder one like the Redwolf FT version. Its got the ART barrel and the Renegade cylinder. Mats came from : www.riflemats.co.uk/
I’m absolutely blown away by this. Start to finish - not only the rifle BUT the stock too! And I love the mat - need a M&M one 😜. Kudos lads, a great video to watch and wind down with - with a whisky of course. See you soon I hope! mikeyhall1 😘
Simply awesome - and congrats on 100 videos. Glassy finish and not left handed would be my moans 😜 Its simply a beautiful with amazing results! Daystate should take note and start offering this in their line up.
Cheers Tim, that's the mad thing they already made the FT but didn't put in in production, silly, but I suppose that's Daystate for you. Thanks for watching
Thanks, the wood took the oil very well, still a little more finishing to go but just waiting for the oil to shrink back then it will get another coat. Thanks for watching.
Bloody cracking job Geoff, love the shed wolf matt, and your thread on the forum regarding this stock was a brilliant read. Looks bloody lovely mate 👍🏻
Absolutely amazing jake I honestly believe seeing you and dad shooting I at the range it looks even better in the flesh. Think you're topping the best in the business chap's.
Simply awesome, as usual! I've had the pleasure of seeing, handling, and losing our friendly BR comp to this absolute feat of 'Shed Engineering'! You chaps never fail to amaze me!
Cheers Tony, the delta wolf is another rifle on our radar, haven't got around to getting our hands on one yet, but definitely in the future. Thanks for watching.
Maybe you could team up with the sub12 boys tony and supply a new delta wolf.? I guaranty you will be surprised what they could improve! (I’m deadly serious by the way) 👍 people in the uk want cylinder rifles tony with traditional stocks with adjustability for different disciplines not a whopping great bottle and compromised stock designed for usa and FAC…👍 (also we want longer ART barrels aswell in uk)
@@Sae-fu5ch you have your opinion and I have mine, mine though is backed by 40 years of sales data 😁😂. please don't forget that the UK is not the only place airguns are sold and in the rest of the world airgun are high power. I would be delighted to support this channel, but maybe that's up to them, not you and I, if they want our support they just need to get in contact.
@@sub12airgunners love your work, I would like to see in the future a tuning video of a steyr hunting 5 auto, I've been searching RU-vid but unable to find a video and I strongly believe you would tune one to perfection 😁👍👍👍
@@luisferreira633 If we get our hands on one we will give it ago, intriguing little rifles, so we may check one out at some point. Thanks for watching.
Perfect, that's exactly what I've been looking for, I wish I could buy one! I've been using my RW midnight for FT and HFT last couple of years and loving it, but looking to make some tweaks and would rather have a cylinder as well. I was excited to see the RW FT LPR version, but Daystate UK aren't developing that any more and it's not available in the UK anyway, so I've been toying with the idea of having one built for me, but adding a heliboard as well to give finer power control and more flexibility with different pellet weights. Your video is really helpful to see it's easy to swap out the bottle for Pulsar cylinder, so it feels like my ideal rifle might actually be possible :-)
Definitely possible if you can get the parts, heliboard is a good shout as well, we may end up fitting one to this rifle just for the extra fine tuning, you just need to get a stock made. Thanks for watching.
@@sub12airgunners With the Pulsar / Renegade cylinder I think that this has a filler at the front, did you keep that installed so that you can fill the cylinder using both the cylinder's front filler and also the RedWolf's original filler under the stock? If you removed the cylinder front filler, what parts did you use to blank it off? Oooo, sorry, I just watched the video again and see that by using the Renegade housing / boss you're no longer using the RedWolf filler port. Apologies! Many thanks Simon
@@sub12airgunners I gotta be honest pal your channel is very interesting I'd love to be able to pick your brains on things are you on instagram or any of the Facebook group's or pages I found the video on Polishing the barrel very interesting I don't know if I could do it with my rifles cos I don't think I can remove the barrels and don't want to damage the breach seals
Im not into all this laminate etc and not a bling merchant ......................................BUT ....................... Yous did it all yourself which is very commendable and it looks great .................. great work !
Thanks, not everyone cup of tea, but it makes the range a little more interesting, would get a little boring if it was all the same. We do appreciate the kind words though. Thanks for watching
Fantastic! I’ve been looking at purchasing a red wolf but the Daystate stocks cheek pieces don’t match the laminate lines with the main stock and it’s just not right yours however is brilliant, great work. Will these be available in standard bottle format to buy? It may be a little difficult to obtain the pulsar parts for a tubed version though I must say I prefer the tube 👍👍
Thanks, we did try very hard to get the laminate to line up nicely, bit of work but we managed it, the stock won't be for sale though, this was just a custom build we wanted to try, Thanks for watching.
Nope just me and my Dad in a little garage, hes my ideas man/ consultant/ wood worker, and I do all the machine and video work, he also is the one on most of the forums, so its easier to just say we as its a joint effort. Thanks for watching.
The 700cc bottle are getting quite popular now, I prefer the look of the 580 to be honest, the 700 is a little long for my taste, but if you need the extra air its a lifesaver. Thanks for watching
Onde consigo esse laminado p importar para o Brasil? Achei em um site uma vez mas quando fui procurar novamente, a fábrica tinha pegado fogo e fecharam.
Hi there ive watched your video of fitting a fx mk3 regulator bottle vavle to the red wolf so you can remove the bottle is it straight forward take out and screw in any asvice or instructions would be great Thanks paul
Yeah, its a weak point of the red wolfs to be honest, the stock just seems to be milled a little too wide, fixable with a little packing but annoying none the less, its not a deal breaker for us but I can see why it puts some people off. Thanks for watching
Its a sub 12, we still get 300+ shots so its not really an issue, plus its a bench rest rifle so as long as we can get 30 shots out of it it will do a comp no problem. Thanks for watching.
@@johnpeat3412 Fair point, we done it for a few reasons, first to get the stock flatter, longer and lower, this rifle is going to be my dads bench rest rifle so to sit on a rest nicely, the bottom needs to be flat to combat roll or cant, and making the stock longer helps with stability, now we can support the rifle to pretty much the end of the barrel now, and making it lower just brings it to a better place on the bench, bottle rifles always seem a little higher than is comfortable for us. But it was mainly because we wanted to make it, we had not made a stock before and the redwolf is our one of our favorite rifles so we went with that, and theirs really no draw backs, you still get 300+ shots out of a fill so the shot count drops but not to an unreasonable level. Thanks for watching.
