Some bird shot would be cool as a in-between round for shotguns, wider spread less damage and some chokes as well for shotguns.

I was hoping for geese in ponds that fly away when spooked. Sea gulls on the coast. Pigeons in the larger towns and cities, on the rooftops of the tall apartments or the high industrial buildings that fly away when spooked. Raccoons in towns around garbage bins and skunks. Groundhogs in fields. Mice inside houses. An occasional dead fish on the beach. Dig for clams or oysters on the beach.

The fox used to be in game. Used to run along side it when I found it in game. I ran with one from Svet to near Mish tents back in the day. Was a peaceful experience.

Fox model is great also new animals will definitely bring life into the game i hope they add these too the base maps

They need to add a actual sniper scope for the new SNIPER rifle they added. Not that lazy acog. Makes no sense. Especially for that type of long rang rifle.

Rabbit sounds like a squirrel and the fox sounds like a rubber chicken.

Now we just need scrambled eggs. Lets make it happen 🙏

Foxes are cool! We just definitely need the Rabbits Modelled now though, not just the Hare on Saikhal. Could this be leading up to long awaited birds? 😂 Im still waiting for the day a Title has Hunting equal to TheHunter, vehicles and terrain modelled like MudRunner and Infected as good as DaysGone or LastOfUs.

I would like to see birds added like hawks or eagles that eat hares, would be cool seeing them hover above a grassy field hunting them.Also ducks or geese and seals on the rocks and gulls near the ocean.With seals they would give you food and craft clothing.

A budy carry or drag would be a cool addition too. You and your friend or group gets into a firefigh and ond gets knocked but is out of cover you can quickly run pop smoke and take them to safty and resuscitate them would be awesome. Also could be useful in pve encounters where you get downed by zeds and your friend can drag you to a building or something to res and bandage. Just need more coop mechanics for the ones who run with others

We need to be able to make soups in the cooking pots. Different combinations of different ingredients yield different soups. Gives more calories than just regular baked food

I'm very happy they are adding these to the game, after 10 years they are still working on their game. These might seem like small additions to some, but the work done behind the scenes for these are huge. I have so much respect for BI, always did but after the May event in Prague it tripled!

DayZ has always had some of the most convincing animals. Whoever is designing them has a very good eye for paring them down to the most simple set of behaviors that still "sells" them as actual animals. The way the wolves circle and don't attack directly, for example, is a great design choice.

I would like to see new "craftables " possibly food recipes like add meat water potatoes tomatoes to cooking pot,making a soup or stew giving a better calorie intake and a added protection from adverse weather like rain, cold, snow. Another would be parts to craft a moonshine still! Add in pumkin or other foods. The then moonshine could be used to treat illness, as a disinfectant, and keep warm in the snow/cold of new map

1:45 foxes have been in DayZ SA before - was way back in 0.56

Now i wonder if they’ve actually coded in inter animal interactions specifically between the likes of the foxes and chickens, they normally go for hens or lambs and tbeyre an absolute nightmare for crofters so I’m wondering if we will see the likes of foxes actually hunting the chickens and the hares in game

It would be nice if you could use a Leather Repair Kit to make rabbit gloves and fox hat

The hares should only spawn very close to the player imo. If there’s no grass texture in the distance then it’ll be far too easy to spot them. I feel like foxes should also only make noise at night

If they really add reindeer, I hope to god its not just reskinned deer... They are not loud animals, they will not have loud howls or whatever you call the stag call. They also aren't as easily startled from far away, they are more akin to sheep.

I’m excited that they are continuing to update the game more and more unfortunately I’ve had to sell my pc setup for now so I won’t be able to play the new map on launch but I look forward to when I do get to play

Both of the animals were in the game before, way back in Alfa, not just the hare.

500 hrs n this game. nowhere near a pro, but it just keeps bringing me back. building a base and surviving a gunfight are so well done in this game

stray dogs would have been nice in a post apocalyptic world like Chernarus or Livonia.

I want raccoons that spawn in at night and jump scare us. Like they just walk around houses and trash piles dumpsters and are clumsy making noises. It would throw you off if you were held up in a house for the night

1:45 foxes were in game 1 update, later they were removed. I don't remember exactly, but it was somewhere between 0.50-0.55 version. (I can throw a link and a video as proof).

The audio sounds way too loud for a rabbit. I get it gameplay wise but id rather have to look out for poop and prints and stuff instead of listening for a rabbit. lol. that loud squeek sounded more like if it was snared. The fox was good imo though.
