I think it's a joke from the show. In the original scene, when they go to leave, one character says, "Oh, did I have a purse? No, wait, I'm dead."

@@jessesaunders7043 Is it a requirement they do teh memes? This is a fantastic intro because many times members have spoken of how the week of desert bus seems like a surreal purgatory, both over in an instant and seemingly endless.

Jonny Glitch I didn’t mean to make it about memes, just that the Good Place started in 2016 whereas most of their intros seem to reflect something more recent to internet culture. And again I’m not complaining I’m just confused
