Mate, they look fantastic. The AB figures are beautiful and a pleasure to paint. Big units of 30/36 and bigger in 15 look beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
Gawd, I do love Napoleonics. Great start, Epic. Loving how they are turning out so far. Keep at it, and can't wait for your vlog. Take care, and thanks for the P&C/Paint Along shout-out. ~K
@@epicfoxtabletop2165 Correction: just checked what sources I have. Michael G. Head, Foot Regiments Of The Imperial Guard (Almark, 1973), gives the following: On a scarlet patch: 1801-2: aurore cross 1802-1808: white cross 1808 onward: white grenade Officers and NCOs wore the design of the period but in gold. Pericoli, 1815 The Armies At Waterloo (Sphere, 1973), gives other ranks a white flaming grenade on a red patch; the officers having the design in gilt wire. Funcken, L'Uniforme Et Les Armes Des Soldats Du Premier Empire (Casterman, 1969), gives the same early cross and later grenade but makes the year of transition 1807. Apologies for the half-cocked mis-correction.
These look fantastic my friend. Those AB figures are very nice. I’ve heard a lot about ESR recently and it does sound like a fun game. Will be interested to hear how you get on with it. 🙂
Thanks very much! I just got my ESR book... I can tell you just the information and production alone are worth the price. Still reading up on the rules, but I am finding them great so far!
