@@andrewmcquain I blame St. Louis city and county for not agreeing on a stadium location back in 1987 because the football Cardinals owner wanted to stay in St. Louis. At least as a result of the St. Louis lawsuit with the NFL over the Rams it came out it took an indemnification agreement for owners to think they were being protected by Kroenke for moving the Rams out of St. Louis and not be a part of its new stadium. Kroenke saw much more money for him though in the much larger L.A. market so he would have never been part of its new stadium. St. Louis should have been given an expansion team if they wanted a team in L.A. that bad. Kroenke was far too weathly of an owner for St. Louis.

@@larryloveless2967 St. Louis has lost more than just two NFL teams. They also lost the Atlanta Hawks and the Baltimore Orioles, as well as the expansion that became the Jaguars. Overrated sports town. No city has lost more teams than St. Louis.

@@andrewmcquain I I agree St. Louis is not much of a basketball city. The Hawks were very popular in the 1950s and early 1960s but the Blues hockey turned out to be much more popular. I agree St. Louis does not have the market to support 2 baseball teams even though the Cardinals rival the much larger markets of Los Angeles and New York in baseball. The St. Louis Browns were just so similar to the Chicago Cardinals football team when they moved here in 1960 in that they owned the stadium but their tenant the Bears in their case had far better success on the field. The foortball Cardinals owner wanted to stay in St. Louis in 1988 but the city and county foight over a stadium site resulting in no stadium. Attendance was never an issue. If the Jaquars owner had been given the permission to purchase the STL Rams owner Kroenke they would still be in St. Louos today. Attendance was never an issue there as well. Kroenke knew he could make more money in the large L.A. market and even with his indemnifcation agreement that was suppose to protect the NFL owners from St. Louis lawsuits for stealing the team, St. Louis was prepared to abandon a 20 year old stadium and build yet another stadium. . Only the Cardinals and Bengals owners stuck with St. Louis despite the indemnifcation agreement. This is why St. Louis crowds excel in the XFL. It also took the right owneership from that of the Enterprise owners to build a privately funded soccer stadium. Many years of Catholic youth league soccer along with the largest Bosnian immigration in the country following the Yugolavian war will now show the world St. Louis rivals soccer support only seen in other countries such as England. So in a way, for a small market city. St. Louis is indeed the best of the best.

Good point! Don't know why in recent years runners and even receivers do way too much shuffling instead of just moving downfield. Shuffling is the kiss of death for a runner but they keep doing it anyway.

AJ's fumble and several key missed passes didn't help. Bottom line was the Battlehawks handed them the game. They had numerous chances to win and couldn't come through.

None of the other cities even come close to the attendance St. Louis gets and will continue to get. Tonight's crowd was even larger than last Sunday's crowd at the dome.

The hawks sucked. You won't win often when you allow a RB 202 on the ground with 3 TDs. Enjoy the sweep. 10 penalties by halftime. St. Louis was never in the game.

Keep in mind that none of the XFL teams had very long to practice pre-season and none of them had any practice with contact. Given that reality they aren't doing as badly as it appears at times.

It's harder to go 16-0 in a league with 32 teams full of the best pro football players in the country. This season is what? 10 weeks? ...With only 8 teams full of lesser talent. I know it's possible to beat DC though, I was just hyping them. Lol

They played DC the best out of any team this season, and they beat the Roughnecks. St. Louis is 1-2 in the north. They were handed 2 free wins against the south.
