I polished my truck for the first time using zephyr 4 step process. Red wheel with the red Tripoli bar, then the green pad with green moss bar then the white pad with the white chrome bar then finished with the dommet flannel wheel with the blue moon bar. And was blown away by the results it looked like glass. If you’re going to do this to your truck plan on atleast a few days it’s a lot of work no joke. You have to be patient you can’t force the process let the wheel do the work. I found zephyr 25 is better for maintenance

Hi, I'm a new subscriber, I have watched a bunch of your videos and picked up a lot of great tips. I only polish hobby items like wheels and things for my show car. I found a huge difference in switching from spiral saw wheels to airway wheels, thanks for that one. I do see in a lot of your kits offering Zephyr Pro 40 polish. I have not seen any videos where this polish is used. Is this used after final buffing, or is it only used as maintenance between buffing? Does it help protect from corrosion, and dulling? Thanks for everything you!

Hey Jim, welcome to The channel :) Pro-40 is a great product for all around polishing and general maintenance. I don’t off that product in my kits anymore cause it’s not as good for finishing after you’ve polished with a finishing bar. Often it will dull the shine slightly. I’ve switched to a couple other products now. Hope this helps

Its probably also good to mention to people new in to polishing that just like compound bars being different colors depending on company, so are buffing wheels from other companies one color for one isnt always the same for another. Also use 4" saftey flanges with airway buffs if you are a bench top polisher like i am.

Is 8500 rpms bad?
@DCSuperShine
@DCSuperShine Год назад
Yes! It’s too fast, you run the chance of burning your work and greatly increase your pads blowing up… it’s really not fun at 6000rpm even worst at 8500
