Dude, I have been searching for over an hour for this exact thing. I want to run 24v off-grid, but have an option like this to run laptop or whatever at each low volt socket. Laptop is 19v, and other devices I have are 12-14.4v. Thanks for the video

Question what if I wanted to do this with a car battery and alternator? Would this hold the amps ?

Thanks for posting this video; I've been eyeballing this module. I'm curious if when you're clicking/changing voltage to go higher (right button), if you were connected to a voltmeter on output terminal, if we might have seen voltage increase? ...although it didn't show on lcd display, due to 3 digit lcd display that comes with module. In other words, when the voltage goes above 9.99vdc, then to accommodate voltage readings the decimal jumps over to read 10.1 vdc...and so forth, AND would show on voltmeter progressing 10.1 .... 10.14 .... 10.18 .... 11.02. etc . thanks again for making editing this video; much appreciated. jimmyg

Got one of these and the voltage display stays at zero. Current works, and the setting also works. I can trace the 1/10 voltage from the divider all the way to the micro pin, but display says zero constantly. Anyone experience something similar? Also, MP23070 link is broken in description.

Please help me I have same power supply when I first turned it on it runs like a charm but after 4 hours it just stuck on 5v on but my voltmeter is showing that it is not giving an single volt. I turned it off for the whole day but still facing that problem please help me

Dude. Great video. You know your stuff. I have an 18vdc, 7 watt solar panel. It pushes about 0.32 or 0.38 amps. Is there anyway I can increase amperage to about 1 or 2 amps without reducing voltage too much?

Do the small DC to DC DROK type adjustable Buck step down converters produce much audio noise? I will be using 12 volt battery input and powering a 6 volt portable short wave radio. I hope you will answer my questions. If this could add audio noise, could you suggest a simple remedy? Thanks

I just found one of these in a junk store unused for 50 cents, took me alittle while to work out what it was, now I know what it does it's going to be very useful as time to time I play with Arduino and using various low voltage items reason for tripping over it as I was looking for a power supply for Led lighting and seen afew things that caught my eye while there also brought for 50 cents each Dual ultra sonic sensor, wifi controlled relay switch, A8 net 3d printer main board, eleksmaker laser engraver main board and 2 nema 17 stepper motors.

Thanks for nice review. I am buying one to use for short circui diagnosis on laptop boards. 5 volt/3 amp max is fine for that purpose, and I don't want to spend a lot more on full bench power supply.

It would make sense, because its a step down you should'nt need to try to get to the source voltage, and the batt. icon is i think is a battery status, that is very cool! i bought one off of Ebay but does not have a digital display, had to use voltmeter to adjust voltage., tbis one also display Amp so awesome!. i have to get me one now, thanks for sharing.

Hello everyone, I was doing with no load tests on the module; The voltage reported on the module display with respect to the voltage measured with a multimeter is approximately 0.05 volts, for example, 5.06 volts are displayed on the module display and 5.01 volts are shown on the multimeter. We will have to see how is the difference of voltages with load.

What do you film with? Good quality. You should do a limit test, make some smoke.

can you connect 9 volt/AAs to this? Just curious.

Not helpful , are there any indicators which can see the battery is fully charged ?

hi Mate.. dont you calibret it.. like this: Calibration Mothod: Power-off status, press and hold the left button access the power, the display starts flashing, release the left button. using multimeter measured the output terminal voltage, if the measured voltage is greater than 5V, press the left button reduced the voltage to 5V; if the voltage is less than 5V, press the right button to increase the voltage to 5V. When the LCD display voltage of 5V(sometimes it shows 4.99V), turn off the power, the calibration is complete.

MINE RAISES POWER ALL BY ITSELF...SO IF I PUT IT TO 5 V AFTER 2 MIN ITS GOING UP TO 6-7 VERY SLOWLY...UNTIL IT SHUTS OFF BY ITSELF.

Hey man maybe you can give an Idiot like me a bit of advice lol. Im looking for a device kinda like this (preferably in the same price range lol.) I need it to be able to adjust the voltage and the amperage. I need it for some amature electro plating experiments I want to do. Yet i'm only slightly more electrically educated than the average person lol. I need something to... 1) adjust amperage from 3A to IDK like 10A? (Approx. I would just like some playing room.) 2) adjust voltage from (approx.) 5v - to 12 volts 3)act as a rectifier to smooth current 4) It can be dc-dc or ac-dc... im not picky. If you have any suggestions for me it would be greatly appreciated! I just don't have a ass load of money to get one of the big fancy digital variac devices... ya know? The ebay add for this product lead me to believe the amperage was adjustable... but it appears I was wrong. what if I bought many different dc wall converters (of verying amperages) to interchange when I wanted a different amperage? Would that work?

Sorry to say but you reviewed this device inadequately. Not once did you even attempt to establish that the displayed voltage was actually being delivered. Even the rather poor instructions that come with the product suggest you check against a quality DMM. Nor did you bother to check the instructions which are open to interpretation. And what about a test under load, this thing can deliver 3A after all!
