Good morning Mark. The DC3 is one of my favourite aircraft and what a brilliant job this chap has done. I haven't seen it for a while now, but the ordinance survey have a DC3 that takes off from Southampton airport, that is very close to where I live. Thank you for sharing that. Terry
Two minutes, 45 seconds of faffing about starting the engines until we actually get to see her fly. As an electric flyer I spent that time shaking my head but it was worth it once she got going. Fantastic sound & a beautiful model.
Chris, hahaha, glad you got there in the end and enjoyed the flight. I think people who fly IC engines would argue that aero modelling is as much about the journey as it is about the flight, the sound, smell and the achievement of getting it set up and performing right, I certainly enjoy this side of it as much, if not more than the actual flying. Each to their own eh! Good flying 😀
