Had to remove the body of my model and thought, being reasonably experienced, I would have no trouble but found your video very useful and saved me quite a bit of time, particularly as the exploded diagram has the bracket 350-125 the wrong way round! - thank you for posting - really useful!
I would guess that if it says DCC ready on the box then there should be a socket, probably 8-pin. The manufacturer should not use the DCC ready wording if it requires soldering, however the Graham Farish Class66 is an exception to this rule and there are solder tabs - Unfortunately there are no complete databases to say what model has what.
