I have had my niece since she was 12 In kinship care, I am her legal guardian, she is turning 18 this year, her father was killed in a car accident when she was 7, then her mum just struggled with life after loosing her soulmate 😢 she eventually became addicted to drugs and dhs stepped in, there was no way our babies were going in to foster care, at the time we were going through an ivf program because my husband and I couldn’t have our own children but that all stopped when we got her, she was so traumatised she needed our full attention love and care so we gave up our chance to have our own children but it was worth it for her! She needed us! ❤❤❤ she’s doing so well now, and we are very proud of the person she is becoming 🥰🥰🥰
I’m an adoptive momma of 10 in the US. I want to clarify something. I’m not sure about the state of NY where Lush resides, but in my state, you CAN post your foster kiddos on socials. What you CANNOT do, is identify them as wards of the state unless you’ve adopted them. So Josh is hitting the nail on the head when he says she’s calculated. She has absolutely planned this around their adoptions and is using them for clout. If you pay attention she never referred to D and N as foster placements. They were kinship placements to avoid being entered as wards of the state. She found the loophole. I look for Lush to serve jail time in the next 10 years.

There is no way she had them placed with her under a foster license. They would have been removed for breach of contract and failure to follow foster care protocol.

My son was a sleepwalker when he was little, he'd try to open the front door...my husband had to put a lock at the top of the front door so he couldn't unlock it...and a baby gate to block the kitchen Really no need to tie him down either... can't lie...I lost a lot of sleep during that time, but it all worked out

Can you imagine being a foster child and finding out you were coming into a new home , but when you get there, you are recorded for a youtube channel? This seems like it would be a traumatic moment where you would even need privacy from your new guardians? This seems just completely horrifying. I know for me, I never liked being recorded by my own parents, if I came into a home and they started recording me, it would be a nightmare.
It's so disgusting how she deleted N from everything in her life except the videos of her that she left online for clicks and money. Despite everything, N was part of the family. I couldn't delete or forget any of the children, or even make stupid tik toks against them.
Its disgusting how she just cut that poor child out of her life as though she never existed. So sad…N has been through enough, I’m sure, without this witch taunting her…SMH!!!!!
I think Josh speaks so much about this family because he knows some insane and disgusting insider information. I don’t think that he has enough concrete evidence to expose it. I hope what Josh knows will come to light. The bed constraints and the security that follows them is very suspicious, and probably just the tip of the iceberg.

How callous do you have to be to take in an already traumatized child ,"lavish" material items on them but neglect what they most need ,security love and time with you.That`s how you bond Alicia not by throwing junk at a child/children! Then ,when said child is distressed enough to want to leave ,imply they were an issue (not yourself) ,and remove their name/photo from all family pictures etc.She is disgusting! I thank God for the wonderfully loving devoted parents who adopted myself ,and later on my brother.They gave us what was important ,as did all their extended families.Alicia needs investigating ,asap.

I saw that in her recent day in a life Sunday video. I called her out in the comments but I'm beginning to think she keeps up that sort of comment as people argue back. Some of the blunt comments I've left on her videos would have me kicked out.
She does it because she thinks that people to go to church are good, upstanding, productive members of society. She wants people to think that she is that. I am often endeared to other people that attend church because I know how much dedication it takes to drag yourself there every week even when you don't feel like it. She wants people to believe she is a good person basically, but we've all seen too much to the contary😂 and even the people she once fooled are starting to see it.

Yk what I think is the funniest & saddest part of all of this? In families like dough dozen & 8 passengers NONE of their kids have social media until they are over the age of 18. I agree about TikTok - it needs to go. When it first came out I had someone close to me (high up in military) say DO NOT DOWNLOAD that ap. I’m in from Scotland so I know property etc is a lot different here, but my image of American homes is that they are huge and lavish, especially if you have the funds (which she has). If she was really looking after those kids she’d buy a plot of land and build a house with a big kitchen, living room, games room ( with ONE of each console) , and plenty of bedrooms so the kids aren’t on top of each other. I just found your channel. I have been watching the Dougherty Dozen for a few months now. Not so much because I like watching her exploit her children, but because it makes me angry. The crap she feeds them, the sugar, the processed foods, etc, makes me want to watch, just as you do. I was thinking the same things that you are saying. I will say that my mother, her dad, and her sister, all had the same thumbs, so, at first, it upset me that you make fun of her for that, BUT, I get why you do it. The way she goes about things, makes everything she does seem cringy. Her thumbs are so different than my mom’s. My mom was a petite dainty woman and her thumbs were endearing. She didn’t have the joints that were so big and odd. She passed away two and a half years ago and I miss her so much!! Anyway, my mom and I laughed so much when we were together. Honestly, I haven’t laughed so hard since she died, til I started watching you and the Dougherty dozen, so Thank you for that!!!!!
