0:43 32° 39'51 N / 35° 7'22 E, is My house :) Yoqneam illit. I grew up with F-4's waking me up at mornings, today the F-16's "Barak" does it more "gently" LOL Every time I am at my brother's house, we sit outside at his balcony watching the show above the "Jezreel Valley". Great work!

This "compressed" nature of this map makes for an excellent battlefield for helicopters. Can't wait for the Mi-24!!!!

Wow thats fantastic Wags! I cannot wait for this map! Looks like Ugra is hitting it out of the park! It really displays how cramped Israel's airspace is.

Hey Wags, is there maybe a possibility in the future that the northwest of the Persian Gulf map gets updated?

This is going to be a day one purchase. It's going to bring me back to the good old Jane's IAF days. Now anout that F-4E....its at the top of my wish list. It would be a joy to paint it in "Kurnass" colors. Fingers crossed.

Definitely looking forward to this one given the location, which will lend itself nicely to realistic missions in one of the more fraught areas of conflict in the world. It looks awesome too, which is always critical for immersive experiences. Nice to see some F-16 action too!

Stunning amount of ground / low level flight detail. Love it, especially with the Kiowa Warrior coming up. This going to be my new favorite map for sure and say goodbye to Caucasus ;). Hopefully it is nicely optimized for each type of system.

Syria map is coming out. I'm sure I speak for everyone, but we ABSOLUTELY NEED a Mirage III module for DCS to re-create historic battles for the Arab-Israeli conflict. We have MiG-21, now we need a Mirage III as well. I hope ED makes a module of it to compliment the map soon.

Amazing work! My father served in Libanon in 1982 as part of peacekeeping forces between the border of libanon and Israel, i have seen a lot of pictures of the terrain and this look very similar! Looks great

Nice video. This is exactly what we used to do in the F-4 in Germany. However, we did not have navigation aids this good nor CCIP. We had to do it the old-fashioned way. Time, distance and heading. And the iron bomb sight.

That statement about Combined Arms piqued my interest. Is there any news for updates on it to make it properly worth the price? Possibly some updates to UAV's, different Artillery systems (such as the M270 MLRS ATACMS) and maybe even a Gulf War-era Iowa class to go with all these Naval ops?

Thanks Wags. Map looks great. I've been through that specific area (and surrounding countries) and am looking forward to seeing those features. It'll be great once the F-16 gets the AGM-65 for standoff. Overflying a target in the Golan is suicide. Pronunciation note: Hebrew emphasises the last syllable, the i becomes e, and r is slightly rolled. So if you want more authentic pronunciation that the locals can understand it is: ra-MAT da-VEED.

Looks awesome! PLEASE PLEASE get us some external footage! For every 1 of you guys trying to play this game from the cockpit, there are 500 potential players who want to play and pretend they are in a movie. Rendering and graphics engine is SO COOL (so are you dude!) that half the time I'm flying I look with awe at the scenery and weather! Not suggesting you change your style, you rock dude! Just saying please also showcase the AMAZING graphical power of this game, I think you'll find that a huge number of people would become more un-intimidated by this game and consequently contribute more time to it. Hell I fly alot of the time just to literally 'see the sights'! My 2 cents, you rock bro, and you as well Eagle Dynamics! Almost started callin em 'E.D.' - but that just sounds like you need a viagra or something. Carry On!

I'm sure I'll get this at some point, but just can't see it happening until there are campaigns or other content available for it. The map alone isn't geographically unique or distinct enough, for me, from the existing options. I'm weirdly more interested in the Marianas map despite it basically just being small islands, for the reason that it's something we don't yet have. And the Falklands too!

While I’m excited for the Syria map. What I really think this game needs for the Cold War era jets is a Vietnam map and maybe a Korea map for mig-15 and F-86

I don't know if you will or can respond to this question Wags, but can I expect the same performance I have on the Persian gulf ? Or is the level of detail just quite a bit higher that should expect to lose frames ?

without proper VR it's only half baked. If you ever tried it in VR ( HP reverb) you will never want to go back. In VR you're simply -IN- the plane, not in front of a monitor. The immersiveness can't be described, it must be felt.

Nice video as always, probably the most wanted map considering the current situation. However, when you pronounce Ramat David your David sounds like Dayvid which is too english, small hint to be correct you should pronounce it as D'veed with accent and elongation on I letter of that word.

I think they have commented this before but “WE NEED THE VIETNAM MAP!!!” VIET-NAM PLEASE!!!

How are your chaff and flares working? Last i knew they aren't working yet or haven't been completely modeled to work per settings on the panel. They just continue to to dispense unless you actually look down and turn off the toggle with your mouse and that's just dangerous to do when your at low level versus using a command on your controls.

The DEM is off.. Sea of gallelee is about 800ft below Sea level (-800ft MSL)

Hey Wags, will I ever be able to play this SIM in VR again? Since 2.5.6 it just tanked. I've not flown in 2 months because it's horrid right now.

Why play the Syria map in dcs when you can play it in real life

A little off topic from the map, but are the recent JHMCS model and texture updates for the Hornet going to be brought over to the Viper soon? The improvements are a night and day difference.

Syria looks pretty nice actually. Might buy a one way ticket to Syria soon...

Can DCS just use MFS 2020 tech and just use satellite imagery? Then slowly improve the quality ? That should be a lot faster than having to build everything from the ground up. Hopefully someday DCS becomes a truly global game like Flight sim 2020. You could have war in any country

Wow i really like this terrain. Looks fantastic. Great idea for a video as well this small mission. Would be great if you can do a 15 minute edited coop video with somebody else and AI. But then show some extra interesting bits, like showing the take off with your wingman and the AI. Then some AAR along the way and some nice low level flight to the target. Off-course the landing should be included as well. Show the potential of this great piece of software to the public. :)

Is the F-16 going to be completed? Just coming from X-Plane and there won't be any major updates if they weren't there at the beginning

The map looks very nice. Except that the sea of galilee suppose to be about 700ft below sea level, this mistake make the whole surrounding seem flatter than it should be..

I also came to complain that, somehow, 3rd party companies working on completely separate DCS products must be slowing down ED's progress on the F-168 Horner's Maverickpod lighting texture missile physics. So before all the corona we had a real great buzz with friends at kineret so I and my friends were STOKED but the fact its aded to the game now i can go around and stay home at the same time

@Wags my wet dream is still DCS combined with Arma 3, at that map it would even work out for the ground units, please make a new Combined Arms with good Soldiers/Vehicles, like in Arma 3 ;)
