DCS Viggen - Time on Target Tutorial

In this video, I demonstrate the Viggen's ToT functionality. It's not worth much in single-player, but if you want to coordinate a strike with multiple Viggens, this will help you make sure your weapons land within seconds of each other, hopefully defeating the target's anti-missile defenses.

Hey, I'm not sure if you still play DCS but these tutorials are great, really enjoying going through them as I learn the Viggen. Such a fun plane. Do you play on any of the big multiplayer servers like Enigmas? If so would you be able to do any videos going through sorties that the Viggen can do well at on these servers? I'm trying out enigmas at the moment but I find myself limited to mostly mavericks because creating flightplans on multiplayer servers feels a bit fiddly. I'd love to be able to mix between the RB15s and M71s and feel like I'm actually contributing

@@Viking355th ah I just found your playlist on Viggen tutorial videos. I’ll have to watch them all. I just got the Viggen and your videos are super detailed which is what I was looking for. One thing I am trying to figure out is why does my Auto pilot seem to drift and not stay level when Attitude and Altitude hold are on?

I don't understand how the computer makes the difference between entering a "time on target" and a "Mach number" at a wpt? I suppose Bx are target points and how to define them in the flight planning?

Think the Autothrottle is linked to the ingress Mach Number? So you can just fly in AFK all flight?

If so, that's news to me. I've always had it put me at 550 km/h when the gear is up, and 300 km/h when the gear is down. I'll look into that, though.

No, the AFK will hold 550 km/h with Gear up and Alfa 12 or 15.5 with Gear down.

How do you get the Time on Target to work for just waypoints and not an impact time? I've tried to do exactly this except for just a waypoint and it doesn't give me any take off time.

Make the waypoint a mark point (an M point, not a B point.) B points take mach speeds, M points take time values.
