Hope you will enjoy your Raven character. Worst come to worst..... you can always respec her into another character if for some reason you don't like it. ;)
True, but I am going to try not to and give her every chance... I played it safe creating a Raven Character though. Next time, I do not want to play it safe 🤭
You took this DC universe online creation stuff to a whole other level. I know for a fact that the devs make styles off of your ideas and video counts. And you are showing other people how to be great doing it.
@@ThatGirlFromAU No you weren't. there are new Styles.... Old Styles with new textures.... and Old Styles. Why not give new textures to all the Old Styles?? Probably to save on cost or manhours?? Maybe they gave new textures only to the styles people use the most?? and kept Olfd Textures for styles that are not used as much?? Maybe they will give new textures to all Old Styles in the future?? So many questions??? ;) ;)
So many questions and I have the answer to none of them 🥺 New stuff is cool though... it can get a little monotonous with everything remaining the same for so long.
Celestial Good is Gold.... EEViLLL is Purple. For Raven I would go Sorcery... or Purple Celestial and make her EEViLLL as if she had been turned by Trigon. ;) But Raven with Gold Celestial Power..... will let you come up with why she would have Gold Celestial Powers. ;) One of the fun things of Iconics is not just finding the right look or the right power.... but putting together the background of the character to justify it within the DC cannon. ;) ;)
I nearly went sorcery, but honestly chose celestial because I remember the loadouts looking cool... and some looking EEViLLL, which I think kind of goes well with the conflict that Raven experiences... also... my Raven has to look cool... obviously. 🤭 You're telling me I have to come up with a whole story?... this seems like something I will never do 🤭I do not know enough lore to be able to do so and definitely do not have enough time to learn it.
@@ThatGirlFromAU It;s OK. At the end of the day.... your character.... you make it any way you like. Whatever is fun for you. If you want to make Raven Pink wearing Teddy bear skins and farting Rainbows.... your character.... you do what you think is fun. ;) Awwwww..... coming up with the backstory is half the fun. Doesn't matter if you don't know enough Lore. ;) And as you learn more of the Lore... you may tweak the backstory.... or not. It's all good. ;)
I did create a backstory for the reason my Spring base was decorated as it was@@DCUOMultiverse ... I guess it isn't too far of a leap to do the same for a character, though it would be more comprehensive than a base furnish, and subject to change ☺
I know you said you read Old Comics..... but I wonder what Old Comics mean to you?? Are Comics from 5 years ago Old Comics?? ;) Guess what I consider Old Comics is from allllll the way back in the Stone Age for you?? ;) Seeing how you like Raven... and I would guess the Teen Titans.... There is the New Teen Titans by George Perez and MArv Wolfman from wayyyyyy back in 1980. The first 50 issues are pretty much the definitive Teen Titans comics that gave us Cyborg.... Starfire.... and Raven. Then they launched a New The New Teen Titans Baxter Comic.... that was a new series format they came up with exclusively for the comic shops back then. The first 6 issues of the Baxter series were focused on Raven and the EEViLLL Trigon. If you love the Titans and the Titans characters... that would be a must read.... if you can find the time. ;) Some more trivia... When the Baxter series was released..... the other Titan series was renamed Tales of the New Teen Titans and would be a reprint of the Baxter series about 6 months later. Great era of the Teen Titans. :)
It would have been when I was managing a bookshop... so about five years ago and also when I was younger maybe 15 years ago... I do not remember a lot of them now though to be honest. Stone age... feel free to not answer, but out of curiosity, how old are you? I do not think I have read any Teen Titan comics, just seen some shows. OOOO Those six sound like something I would enjoy 😁 See... You are definitely The Knower of all the DC 😉 I do want to consume more DC content, So I am going to take the recommendations that you provide and find some things within those to sate my desire for DC content. Should be easy enough to get.... especially for a Bookstore Manager. ;) You don't have to follow my recommendations... But you can't go wrong with them Titans Comics. So... @@ThatGirlFromAU The best way to do it is look directly at a picture of the characters you want and just pick the best styles from the game and accessories, emblems and auras. Right now you can make almost every single character in DC comics and else world characters. I enjoy what they are doing cosmetically but I just wish they would work on the game side just as well. But I don't believe they have enough like they used too. But hopefully they do better in the coming few years I hope.
Oh, excellent advice@@geoffreylane5606 any advice om matching the correct power set to pre-existing characters? That is where I feel I would likely struggle 🤔
@@ThatGirlFromAU I would say with that you can use a few but doing that means also using hand accessories and certain auras too. In my opinion Raven would use the evil celestial power but it's purple. Wonder woman would be earth because she is a tank and made from clay in the comics and because they don't really have a specific wonder woman power other than lasso. Mera and Aquaman water, swamp thing plant powers, Cyborg would be quantum powers or a tech aura. Like captain atom would be quantum powers and maybe a quantum type auf you wanted. Some characters you might want to have a aura and some maybe not. Like Shazam would have a lighting aura or accessory because most times he is always electric in the comics. Some characters need everything and some only a small touch, maybe no material, maybe material. But for me it's always getting the picture of the exact character you want and then just go from there with the colors and styles and some characters use weapons and emotes.
@@ThatGirlFromAU Like a doomsday character would be a earth tank and maybe you can add his aura or not, it would depend because each character has a variant and some have auras and accessories etc and some don't. Like Ultraman has the kryptonite aura but Superman 52 doesn't. Just minor tweaks with each character. There are so many characters a person can make it and more character styles coming out. I wish they added more legends PvE character styles etc into the game. Like for Halloween we should have gotten a scarecrow style that's a given and a mission.

@@ThatGirlFromAU You will and you know what you are doing, you did good on this character. Believe me making a character and everything that goes into it isn't a easy process. But you got it.
@@ThatGirlFromAU Haha exactly it's always good to have everything in the game because it might not come around again. I'm still praying I can get three materials and one emblem and I don't need anything to catch up on.
