Remember wesker mains: 7 minutes. 7 minutes is all we can spare to play with them. We are legally obligated to disconnect from the match after 7 minutes
For real! I'm gonna be sad then the attack on titan theme leaves the main menu. And the winder event music around when Legion came out is super Nostalgic to when I first started dbd
For someone who has low knowledge of Resident Evil, it definitely sounds like a Mastermind's Theme, like it comes out like a reveal behind all this chaos and what they planned ahead and there is nothing you can do about it!
Wesker has been a behind the scenes villain since the original game. Everyone thought he died in that game until Code Veronica released, where he was shown alive. (code veronica is like 3.5 in the series). Granted, when you're shown to be stabbed completely through by the giant claw hand of a two meter tall humanoid biological weapon that takes a rocket to the chest to deal any lasting damage, most would think you're dead.
@@fireblast133 Plus the Mansion exploded not too soon after the 1st fight. If anybody thought he survived the stabbing, the explosion probably put those doubts to rest… well, at least until they see the main menu screen of Code Veronica X lol.
@@fireblast133 Fun fact, everyone thought he died in the first RE game because he was originally supposed to die there. The developers brought him back because a lot of people really liked him.
I like how RE survivors have some kind of "fight back" unique perk for each of them. Leon: Flashbang Jill: Blast Mine Ada: Wiretap Rebecca: Reassurrance
Nemesis’s theme screamed “THE APOCALYPSE IS HERE, EVACUATE THE CITY.” This theme says “Why, it was me all along. I won 30 minutes ago. Come here.” Not too familiar with this franchise but from what I can tell its very accurate to both!
This feels like beating what you thought was the final boss(nemesis) and then facing the real one(wesker) but realising you have 0 ammo cus you wasted it on the previous one
Probably because this is their first ever part 2 of a chapter and they must have a very good relationship with capcom. Meaning they don’t take any lazy routes and disappoint the fans
@@Nuuraaaa What tf? I want them to make more part 2 chapters, when did I say I didn’t? And, how is that a bad comparison? The Yamaoka Trilogy is amazing and should be represented as how to execute a trilogy beautifully.
Wesker got the best for everything. Chase music, power (seems to be extremelly fun), menu music, looks, voice lines. Truly the final boss of this game.
@@didijunior971 The Mastermind can barrel forward, Infecting Survivors with the Uroboros virus or leaping over obstacles. Press and hold the Power button to charge a Bound attack. While charging. the Mastermind moves slightly slower as he prepares his strike. When charged, press the Attack button to Bound. If the Mastermind hits a Survivor, that survivor becomes Infected (or furthers their Infection). Should the Mastermind crash into something during this Bound, he will slam the Survivor, causing damage: if not, the Survivor is thrown, losing a health state if they are thrown into any solid object. If Virulent Bound hits a dropped pallet or vault location, the Mastermind vaults over the obstacle. Upon being hit by Virulent Bound, Survivors become Infected. While infected, the Survivor suffers from the Hindered effect, and the Infection builds over time. When fully Infected, the effect becomes even more pronounced. If a Virulent Bound hits a Survivor and they are fully Infected, the Mastermind will automatically carry them.
@@Mornelis Ah yes they did that only to afterwards on the BHVR livestream that was only 4 days later reveal the exact same things when they had full contol of what they leaked. Makes sense.
Allow me to put this into perspective: with this chapter, if you include the mythic skins that change the character completely... *Roughly 1/5 of the entire survivor roster will be RE characters.*
My only criticism of wesker is his goofy run. I wish they really captured his sociopathy as displayed in RE5. He just walks after you, just toying with the fact you are nothing compared to his superiority. No matter what you do, you will never be able to touch him, so he doesn't waste the energy in even trying. I wish they replicated this arrogance in his movements to be more intimidating like myers is.
the idea of wesker being in the game was crazy enough, but the actual implementation was even better than the thought. like dbd did this chapter so well, and not only wesker being in the game is sooooo amazing, the survivors added are incredible too. like personally one of my favourite characters in the series is rebecca and thank god they added her, and plus ada aswell like i really like ada in re. so thank you bhvr, you have redeemed yourself from the mid chapter!
That one teaser that BHVR Twitter did during the anniversary about how they hid a future main menu theme in the anniversary theme… I can totally hear it now.
"In less than Five minutes, we'll reach the optimal altitude for missile deployment. Uroboros will be released into the atmosphere, ensuring complete... global... saturation."
Wesker better have a walking animation, and not a running one like Nemesis. One similar to the walking animation on his boss battle in RE5. That would be badass
This is something I noticed the day before I typed this comment. If you have your brightness up enough, if you look at Wesker's shades, you can kinda see his glowing eyes underneath.
I really like it so much it’s so cool to have new music menu for resident Evil! I’m really so excited for the chapter but I hope wesker same resident evil 5 !!! I’m really so happy for that chapter!!
Still easily one of my absolute favourite themes. I absolutely love how BHVR manages to make all the themes a spin off of the games main theme. Edit: about a month after leaving this comment, I’ve realized that his theme is very similar to that of Nemesis, it just sounds more… “calculated” and less spastic
@@j0hnicide Welp, in comparison - maybe, but in fact he's not on the horror side of RE. But Skull Merchant is garbage, in terms of both gameplay and atmosphere.
