I like how resident evil's theme feel so dramatic and full of action with some hints horror while Silent Hill's theme sounds so depressing and full of grief which definitely fits so good. Good job dbd devs on the music
@@PinkZombie- The Op is actually trying to compare how different the Silent hill franchise is from Resident evil in their themes and music choices.. In Resident Evil there is a lot more action involved due to zombies, a virus, and an evil corporation which fits well with an intense and sometimes cinematic soundtrack. In Silent Hill there is a lot more mystery and fear involved due to there being an evil cult as well as another world where the internal nightmares and struggles of individuals are tormenting those who reside in the town and is manifested in unexplainable, horrific, and highly aggressive monsters which fits well with a more atmospheric and sometimes depressing soundtrack.
Nemesis is definitely the biggest & baddest addition yet. NGL, i think Mr. X may have been more fitting; they nerfed him harder than HELL to fit him into this game & not even talking about 2nd form mutation. Just look at how fast he sprints in RE3. + no flamethrower or rockets. All this being said im glad they chose him instead still, Mr. X is kinda boring by comparison in all honesty even if he is canon more in-line with DbD.
@@FinestFantasyVI I honestly thought we were done with Resident Evil in DbD. Once the first chapter came out I didn't think we'd get another. But Wesker is honestly quite the surprise, and he's a lot of fun too.
@@iannations2543 And will be a new game mode in this chapter. All killers vs hundred of survivors. No gens, no gates, no hatch, giant map and every killer have a mori (with no necessary of hooking)
@@iannations2543 Survivors can look for special glyphs in the map, when certain amount of glyphs has been touched, End game collpase begins but for killers, four exit Gates appear in the map with 2 hatches, but killers gain more efecctive Powers aginst Survivors when This massive event begin, when This endgame collapse begin, the entity roar across the map it can be hear and the sky begins to falla down like an Armagedon
You just referenced my two favourite multiplayer games. Just missing Carlos saying: "W-What?! I thoughg I'm gonna be in Dead by Daylight" (iirc Rex said that)
Then Jill started reading the invitation and she was very excited about it, but then.. She discovered more. Jill and Leon weren't alone.. There was a *third*. And when she said his name, her eyes pop out. And in the ambience you could ear a *happy intensifies S.T.A.R.S.*
İ liked how they used iconic DBD tone (DIN-DIN-DINNIH) into Nemesis' remake theme (where she faces jill)+ Marilyn Manson's movie theme its like NEMESİS intelligentized by ENTİTY so Nemesis realized not just STARS but ENTİTY's targets are his targets
@@Leonsplaything That's fine, it is your own opinion. So I respect it. I like Leon and Ada more from the Re2 and Re4 remaster so I like both chapters almost equally! Thanks for sharing your insight.
It is nemesis- the prediction we’re right. Given the zombie sounds and the screams from the trailer. It makes sense (Awe thank you guys for the Likes :))
@@grald1195 schumckles did. Someone in his comment section on day of reveal trailer did say zombiesand then he followed up with it in his vid. The Mouth wash sounds and then the weird thing on the ground dying out. He predicted it. I’m not surprised. It’s behaviour we’re talking about.
whenever resident evil 3 came out for the playstation and i saw him kill that guy brad, i tell you that was probably the scariest moment of my entire childhood.
@@pabloevil4536 I think it's because they only bought the license for the remade version but then again dbd only bought the license for the ghostface mask and ended up making og ghostface skin so who knows
@@SHOOTFU We don't need him. Predators only hunt prey that fights back. The survivors don't fight back. They run. And anyways, seeing Predator using the hooks would make him look stupid.
@@fr1sco471 they said the same about pyramid head and nemesis..maby instead of hooking he can hang survivors upside down like he dose in the movie and it works like pyramid heads cages
Best chapter by far for me. I think it's safe to say that any other chapter after this one will have to do quite a lot to surpass this one. (Licensed wise anyways)
This chapter really marked a change in tone for the game. Killers would be more oppressive and technical, the meta would be more important, awareness becomes increasingly necessary, perks had more impact and effects and the ones that didn't were overhauled or left for dead. It also heralded a new musical direction, whereas before the only killers with unique music were heavy hitters such as Demogorgon and Pyramid Head. It got me back into the game and I can't say I regret it. The theme itself has a heavy, oppressive, apocalyptic feel, like the Nemesis himself, coincidentally one of my top killers. His tentacle strike hits through any survivor barriers, because there is no escape. When his zombies actually work, Nemesis feels like a walking doomsday that can quickly eliminate anyone in his way.
i think resident evil is the reason why dbd blew up so much in 2021/2022. Sure there are bigger, more iconic villains such as michael. freddy and bubba but no doubt that Resident evil is the king of Horror videogames
Yeah, I think the most important licenses that dbd got were Halloween, resident evil, and stranger things since they all helped dbd boom since they seemed to grab the most attention as seen with the original stranger things trailer
absolutely in love with this version of the theme. it's so big and epic and really gives you a sense of "this is the final arc of the anime". will 100% be taking inspiration from this for personal projects
So since Wesker is going to be in the next RE chapter can we get some old school skins? I.e RE1 Jill, RE2 Leon and Battle damaged Nemesis(Shirtless Nemesis from original RE3)
My favourite lobby music, sends shivers down my spine every time. This is, in my opinion, ever cooler than the original menu music, which is much quieter and cooler. This tune is badass and loud. I wanna play remastered RE2 and RE3 now
