A lot of people say this theme is too "cheery" but I think that's what it makes it fit Trickster perfectly. He's a deeply twisted man hiding under a guise of friendliness. Trickster's theme in game is still a bop but I wish they had kept this in the game
@@bunnyfengo9765 I think that might be a reference to how Trickster slowly killed the people and recorded their screams to put them in his music. Maybe that line is sort of playing off of that lore and implying that he also put his own voice from his incriminating recordings into the music, kind of like him telling a victim "this is gonna take a while."
It's not really shocking since the Entity is canonically female Source: if you switch the game's language to French, it mentions the Entity as "La Entita" which is feminine.
@@deviousN I am french and for us, there is no "La Entita". Instead, we have "L'entité", so the entity is not a female, but not a male either. The " L' " is often replaced by "Le", but sometimes, it's also "La". Both of them works.
I just now found this (I'm mad I didn't before), I thought it was the PTB one until I actually listened and boy did my jaw drop when I heard how light it sounded
I actually like both of em but I can see why they decided to use the other version. This one seems to be a bit less intimidating for dbd vibes but it's still good.
It would immediately tell the survivors what killer they would be going against and ruins the element of surprise especially if it’s a stealth killer. I wouldn’t mind this one to be a standard survivor lobby music as the guitar one is boring as hell (not saying hell is boring, would love to visit sometime so I could tell you)
Although both of these are good, a good touch would have been to add the screams of his victims into his theme music like he did with his music, to just give it a element of lore.
this one sounds soo much better why arnt they using this one instead? i dont listen to kpop but this one sounds soo much more like it came from a kpop artist.
Its likely due to it sounding much more upbeat and positive, which just sadly wouldnt fit a killer theme (But I agree I love this one much more) If only survivors had their lobby music, maybe it would fit the survivor more
In my opinion, this is just an arrangement that someone did and told that is an unused menu theme. The only thing that has been added was the synth right here 0:47. Is the same theme with just 4 synth notes on it besides some beats. In case of being a BETA theme, there is no missing sounds or different arrangements compared to the released one. Nothing closer to a first theme model.

The bass is less powerful, and the audio that starts at 0:48 sounds like it's in a higher key (to my ear, at least.) Overall, the tone is a bit lighter and closer to normal K-pop.
