What changed is that the music is more drowning, like you can’t hear the music well. This does fit into the killer and the creepiness however I do prefer to hear the clear music in the ptb. Not complaining because I won’t notice anything during chases
@@Dominik0-0Yeah I like how you can hear part of the lobby music for the unknown in the back. That was already super creepy and making it part of the chase makes it even better.
SO much better for the chase. I'd rehash my complaints on how different layer 3 is to the rest, but chase is SO SO SO MUCH BETTER NOW! It's creepy! It's creepy and it isn't reptitive, it's noise yes but it's noise done right now, it just needed that last tweak and now it sounds like a genuine failure to identify a threat, it is SO good
I don't really know how to explain how the chase makes me feel. It's like something is mumbling inside your head. It sounds clear enough to identify it's vaguely human, but it doesn't say anything. It has no meaning. It's just unintelligible, repetitive, almost rhythmic humanoid noises trying to reach out to you, but you can't understand anything. In an unknown way, it summarizes perfectly what this killer is supposed to be.
I hear it too. I also notice that when I listen to music, I can kinda isolate certain sounds. It's very strange. But I do hear the lobby music in it and it's pretty cool. :)
Yep! anyway, The Uknown's entire music pack sounds more Silent Hill than all of Pyramid Head's own music. Akira Yamaoka would be proud of this disturbing music.
In the actual chase music, someone tell me if anyone else thought this; the noise that sounds like a heavy object getting pushed across a wooden floorboard- it makes me think the Unknown is dry heaving-breathing as it’s chasing you down. To add to it’s unsettling anatomy. Anyone else?
Layer 4 sounds like someone vigorously moving a file cabinet around in a haunted house while a mechanical monkey clapping a cymbal is marching around in the background.
Haha can’t wait to finally buy it, love this chapter. Although it’s kinda worrying that the abilities they have been giving to killers lately are…not the best. When are they going to run out of ideas?
They just did. Imagine being a dev and designing a creepy body horror killer named "Unknown" that is basically a skinwalker and you decide to give it a purple ball that shoots out it's d!ck as a power.
Hello Zeep and The Pigface's actual chase theme from saw 3 are almost impossible to license because their composer is way too protective of his themes.
Look, I am not accusing BHVR of plagiarizing in any way shape or form, but I cannot help but I find the Unknown's chase music to be strikingly similar with Frank Manera's chase music, from Outlast: Whistleblower. Maybe it is just me, but, I cannot help but think of how similar the 2 are.
I think Layer 2 sounds a lot like Blood For Sex from the Lisa soundtrack. Doesn't mean they ripped it off. Certain sounds evoke certain feelings & sometimes when you wanna recreate that feeling, you're bound to get a similar vibe sometimes.
@@SKULLEDBUICK mind reading the first sentence from my comment again? i did not accuse them of ripping anybody off, i just found a striking resemblance
ah, they removed the one good part of the chase theme.. the windshield wipers no longer have those few seconds where they overlap and create a sound similar to helicopter blades
